A message to the Killer mains
As a Survivor main (only really play Killer to get challenges done for the rift), I just wanted to say thank you.
(Yeah, yeah, I know. Some Killers are #########. They're having a bad day and use it as a chance to take their anger out on someone--and I think that's #########. If I'm having a ######### day, that's my problem. I'm not going to put my ######### on someone else and try to hurt them. And yes, the same could be said about Survivors to Killers. They can be #########, too.)
But, honestly, thank you. When you guys try out a new Killer, especially someone who is a challenge and would take a lot of work to learn, I appreciate it.
Thank you for kicking my ass, but playing in such a way that I know you were simply better than me and earned it. It's a privilege to get to go against you.
Thank you for the times you ignore other's toxicity and continue to play as normal--your level of chill is commendable.
Thank you for the times you feel like giving hatch--I don't ever expect it or feel entitled to it. You earned the hook, and giving it away is not unnoticed.
Thank you for the times you want to goof off.
Thank you for the times you play seriously.
Thank you for making the game possible.
See you in a match. 👋

Like survivors, there certainly are jerkface killers but there are still plenty of us who try to not be jerkfaces.

I loved that way too much lol

I've found that faffing about on the forums is way more fun than doing the same tired arguments over and over again so knowing I got a laugh out of someone makes it all worth it! :D

Tank You :)

In the same vein, big ups to the Survivor mains who just play the game to the best of their ability without clicky-clicking and T-bagging just because they can loop me around like a trained puppy! Have a nice day folks.

Do you find Hillbilly, Hag, Oni, Deathslinger acceptable?
0 -
Oh screw that--you might as well uninstall the game!
But in all seriousness, I love going against Oni and Billy (especially pre-nerf Billy). Good times.

Aww. We need more of this in the forums.
I'd like to give a big shout-out to all the survivors who are just playing the game and vibing without using map offerings and Boil Over right now. The game wouldn't be worth playing without you guys carrying the torch. Bonus points to everyone who brings an envelope.

Thank you for camping me, tunneling me and mori'ing me!

I was expecting a meaningless Us Vs. Them post, but this is actually very wholesome!

Same to all the survivor mains out there. I commend all of your for your coordination in game. I rarely touch survivor as I find that things going wrong are so much easier to handle when its 100% your own fault and knowing that you can improve compared to stuff going wrong because of another teammate, even if it was by mistake. The ability to communicate with each other so well is admirable, both solo queue and SWF.
And to the ones that go out of your way to be kind: It means so much more than you would know. One of my clearest memories was when I was playing Nurse and I got brought to Ormond by an offering. I felt I was doing pretty well, but I ended with 8 hooks and no sacrifices. I originally ended that game feeling out of it due to feeling slightly cheated by an offering since I'm not some god tier nurse. In the end game chat though, the 3 man SFW who didn't bring the offering all complimented me on my Nurse skills and told me I could get really really good at her. Just this act of kindness changes a disheartened mood to a great one since even though I lost, I felt like I had still played well. To those survivors out there that spread kindness, thank you!

Nurses are my favorite. I have a lot of respect for Nurses because it's a hard killer to play, let alone master. Every time I load into a match and it's a Nurse, I get really excited--no matter the skill level. Odds are, you make a lot of Survivors genuinely excited just by playing 👍 I'm glad those people said what they said. Who knows? Maybe you were one of my Nurse matches. :) Have a good one!

Oh this is wonderful!! 🐷💖 Bless your soul !
Thank you to all the survivors that have blessed my snoot these past few days your boops and sweetness really has been wonderful and really lifted my spirits during difficult matches .
Honestly meet some really kind survivors the past few days that have left me gifts or just been really respectful.
Its so appreciated 💖🐷🐽💕

Some of my best Killer memories are from Piggies 🐷 Booping their snoots is one the most wholesome joys in this game 😊 I'm glad you've met some good people lately. Know that the appreciation goes both ways 💜

How can a killer be better than a survivor? That comparison makes no sense

What are hooks?

Well, you see, Shaped, when a piece of metal and a blacksmith love each other very much . . . um . . . you know what? Ask your mother. Good talk, Shaped.

I'm sorry I literally cannot believe you are truly showing empathy. That is not what I come to ever expect from survivors ever. I have to assume its a jebait no matter what you say.

I asked because I barely use them since I play tombstone piece Myers majority of the time these days.
Not sure what your "ask your mother" means but I hope it is nothing mean. :(

You'll understand when you're older. Here. Have a beer. 🍻

The loudest aren't usually the majority, fortunately, but they seem to be.

Shouldn't I not drink alcohol if I'm young?

I don't have to explain my decision-making to a guy who doesn't know the birds and bees of hooks!

This is getting weird. I will leave it at that.

Unicorns do exist. The rumours are true. ❤😲

Nobody should be drinking it, but what can you do?

Don't care watcha ya say, watcha ya say, you're welcome. I'm sailing away, away, you're welcome! And thank you!
2 -
Agreed.
But there is still a problem in terms of survivor attitudes towards killer players.
My best example: In around 460 hours of playing killer, I've had survivors give me a 'pity kill' on literally 2 occasions on complete blowout 'you got 2 hooks lol noob' games.
2.
However, I can't think of the last game where survivors didn't stay behind in the exit gates to teabag me or to do the whole 'here's a free hit PSYCH dead hard out' thing.
On the other hand - if I 4k and don't give someone the exit gate or hatch, I get cussed out in postgame for being 'sweaty'.
- Why is there an expectation that killers give the last survivor hatch, but not for survivors to give the killer a kill?

"HEY!"

My opinion is, there are always people who will be sore losers and hypocrites. But since I don't want to add to it, I try to choose to not be like them. Maybe it'll help change things and make other players feel a little better, maybe it won't. But at the least, it's not worsened. That's something.

Good on you.

what's really sad is that survivor mains are often more toxic than killer mains but I'm
glad to see your not one of them
