Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Freddy Rework

Freddy will be reworked around the idea of being a powerful and terrifying dream demon. With his power growing as the survivors fall into deeper sleep. The further they go, the more the nightmare becomes a reality.

Survivors will have three stages of sleep.

Awake: (Survivors) will not be able to see, hear, or be hit by the nightmare or his abilitys. Only being able to hear the terror radius. (Freddy) will however still be able to interact with vault locations, break pallets, use his powers, and kick generators.

Micro-Sleep: (Survivors) after 60 seconds will start to struggle staying awake. Now becoming vulnerable to the nightmares powers and attacks. Only able to see the nightmare while in his terror radius or within 12 meters. (Freddy) meanwhile becomes more powerful as each survivor descends into their dreams. Decreasing time to recover his power, vault, break pallets, pick up survivors, and recover from stuns by 2% per sleeping survivor. (-Does not stack with perks-)

Rem Sleep: (Freddy) will directly put survivors into this stage of sleep. This can be achieved while survivors are awake or in micro-sleep. For each survivor in rem sleep, Freddy's previous boost are increased from 2% to 3% per rem sleeping survivor. If Freddy successfully puts all survivors into rem sleep, all will suffer from the exposed status for a minimum of 30 seconds and until at least one survivor wakes up. He will however not be able to use his other powers while this is in effect. (Survivors) will now be able to see Freddy regardless of his proximity.

It would be wise for survivors for survivors to fight falling asleep as long as possible to avoid the never ending nightmare. Chest containing adrenaline shots can be used to awake from micro-sleep or to lessen the affects of the nightmares dream lullaby temporally. These are in short supply however and must be used sparingly. Survivors will also be unable to use the addrenaline on themselves once in rem sleep. Only able to be freed by being hooked, or by the alarms that spawn around the map randomly. No aura will be seen, but the alarms bell will be heard more clearly as the survivor approaches it's location.

You cannot hide, you cannot fight, you can only run. But how can you outrun a dream?

(Power) Freddy main ability is to put survivors into deeper sleep. After Freddy performs his dream lullaby on a survivor for five seconds, they will enter rem sleep regardless of their previous state. Freddy however must keep line of sight on the survivor for a minimum of 1.5 seconds for their dream meter to build. If line of sight is cut off the meter will reset to the nearest 1.5 of a second. If the nightmare is stunned or blinded the meter will reset fully for all survivors within the nightmares terror radius. This however is not the only tool at his disposal. He will now also he able to stain two generators at once in blood, allowing him to teleport to them at will every 30 seconds. He can also send out a dream shadow of himself up to two at a time. Carrying a terror radius with a red red stain and refilling by 1 every 10 seconds. They will only move one direction but will mimick the nightmare and will disappear after travelling 16 meters from Freddy's current location.

Add-ons will allow Freddy to have 1 extra blood stain in exchange for one shadow or two blood traps. His dream shadows can be traded for blood traps which consist of his old dream pallets and snares. Which he can place only 5 of collectively.

I think this rework or something among this would make Freddy one of the most fun and original killers in the game. Definitely would be my favorite, and I'd like to see behavior come out with one of his alternate looks as an iridescent skin. I'd pay for that for sure. Anyone else?
