Because i just had a game that was going fine as far as i knew killer just hooked a guy and i ran to a gen to start working on it. All of a sudden the match ended and a msg popped up saying that so and so dced before the trial started but i still got the few bp from what i was able to do and the killer was like ######### happened. So did they release a emergency patch or something because this is going to suck if games just immediately end on a player dcing even if the match is unfair from the start.

    Nope, it occasionally happens when a player disconnects during loading screen that the game doesn’t register immediately and lets the game start for a few seconds. Doesn’t have anything to do with a new patch. Well at least not a new client sided patch. Which is probably coming tomorrow.

    oh ok thx guess it was just a weird thing lol as ive gotten to used to dcing players and figured it was a method to stop that from happening. ok thx for letting me know

    there's 2 kinds of dcs. Imagine it like 2 people in a house, and one gets up to make tea. The first kind is the other person saying "Im leaving so I don't need tea" and he leaves, so the tea isn't made. The other kind is while they're making tea he just gets up and walks out the door. Tea still gets made, finds that he's left, and discards it instead
