The amount of cheating in this game is depressing....

For all the gripes I might have about being killer main, subtle cheating is by far the most depressing. I can play around annoying perks, swf etc but nothing can be done if someone is cheating. I just got done playing a game where I suspected something was off because one of them were just a bit too fast, but they didn't fully reveal it until I was about to Mori them (then they pulled a disappearing act off the ground lmao). Linked it below (mods please feel free to remove the link if this violates forum rules). I'm not going to open a ticket because I will no longer care 2 weeks from now. It's just hard to play a game where I have to question the integrity of every match because you have no way of know if someone is subtly tilting the game in their favor if they don't blatantly reveal it.

Try not to let it get to you. I know some killers keep a hand written list of names next to them of blatant cheats and bullies and leave lobby when they see them again. Trust me it has happened. Ive seen my first bully many times. And some others twice. Ive started doing it sometimes with the worst ones

I hope they can figure out a method to prevent cheating but its not something to be depressed about hopefully they replace Easy anticheat as it doesnt seem to work at all

It won't ever stop until BHVR actually addresses it

They seem to have no desire to. So I wouldn't expect it to ever stop.

Survivor just flat gone, that's crazy.

I wish I recorded the match in which two survivors were left. I was picking up one near a pallet and seen the other in the distance. The one in the distance point emoted and I got pallet slammed as I was picking the other survivor up. I had such double-take that I nearly sprained my neck, like "Hold up! What?!"

What I can't wrap my head around is that hackers literally have to pay money, usually on a monthly basis, in order to keep the cheats going. Why that's worth spending your money on I'll never understand.

But regardless of what was stated in the Q&A, I feel like BHVR could care less about cheaters. While I fully understand why they can't reveal too much information about how they go about fixing the cheating problem, the fact that so many players had to upvote a question about hackers just to get a direct answer from BHVR was sad, and it speaks volumes. The anti-cheat should boot someone from the match for doing something they clearly should not be able to. At the very least have the match end once the EGC ends. The fact that killers are still being held hostage once the match ends is absurd.

You sure you didn't get hit with Power Struggle and Flip-Flop?

    Because it's basically nothing

While I haven't gone to any of the sites myself to verify, there have been plenty of Youtube videos of people "exposing" the cheater pandemic and showing how people get these cheats. Like...a completely cheat loaded game cost under $5

If BHVR actually did something about the cheaters this might be a problem but let's be kind and say they ban someone once a month. For $5 a month, the cheater can mess around to their hearts content messing with people and just being a general nuisance. For a troll, $5 to get a month worth of fun is nothing.

Scariest thing is there is actually a hacker which boosts movement speed by 0.1m/s, I can't even know it happening!
