Some people just can't decide if Legion is good or sucks. Some want them buffed, others want them nerfed, that's why Legion is probably never going to get touched one way or the other because the community can't come to a general consensus.
Lastly latency could be your issue on hatches. What you see as a clean get away, the killer may see yer butt sticking out ... Grabs are always in favor of what the killer sees (to clarify, you are not gone, until the killer sees you are gone, otherwise hatches are a bish, I never get hatch grabs.) This is just my experience, not really to be taken as fact. I have watched hatch-grabs on youtube and this is what makes sense to me. Anyway, I'm sorry you are having a rough time, maybe take a break and play something else for a couple of days? ... It works wonders for me.

Bud, you must be new. The hatch is survivor favored heavily. Next time stand on it and take a hit then jump in. This is what’s known as a hatch standoff. This is also why killer mains cry about it on a consistent basis.0

The hatch is already a mechanic that favors survivors and can give satisfaction to the last one when their team fails to complete the primary objective. There are many problems with the hatch, grabbing isn't one of them.
I don't think anyone likes playing against Legion lol

I suppose I'm fairly new. I always try to get the killer to hit me first but they know better. I'm getting better at the chase and evading but the last four times I've tried for the hatch, I've been pulled out. I'll work on that. Thanks guys0
