Which Licensed DLC is the best & the worst in your opinion?
For me I think the worst is Freddy. The best is really hard to choose but I would say Pinhead (I like his power + cool animations + comeback voicelines) and Nemesis, then would be Demo probably.

In terms of faithfulness to the source material, I'd peg the best as Halloween, followed shortly by Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Worst is... honestly they're all good at being faithful, so no contender.
In terms of sheer quality... worst is definitely Nightmare On Elm Street, it started from an extremely shaky foundation in being only the remake and added definitely the weakest things to the game. Best is Stranger Things as everything it added was quality, but after that probably, hmm... they're all pretty good so it's hard to choose. Pinhead is a good pick.

Freddy is awful now, but once upon a time he was pretty enjoyable.
Halloween has a fun (if slightly bleh) killer and one good perk.
Ghostface is...Ghostface. Wait for the rework. His perks are nothing to write home about.
Bubba is a fantastic choice for his perks (BBQ is a necessity imho, Franklins will always have it's place). I've just never enjoyed him.
Pyramid Head is a fun killer with terrible perks and addons.
Cenobite is a fun (if slightly weak) killer with excellent perks.
If I was going to 'buy into' this game starting fresh, I'd grab Bubba for his teachables and either Myers or Cenobite to play.

Best, Resident Evil because i RE fan. And Nemesis has fun and good power. I wish zombies would be smarter.
Worst, A Nightmare on Elm Street because they reworked Freddy. He was so fun before but now just meh.

To be fair, Halloween has more than one good perk. Save The Best For Last is genuinely great, Play With Your Food has its place, Decisive Strike is still very very strong, and people sleep on reworked Object Of Obsession, it's still really good.
Haddonfield may be an awful map but most of the Halloween DLC is actually pretty good- two dud perks out of six isn't that bad at all.

Worst: Resident Evil because it broke the game for alot of players. Nemesis still causes performance issues. The map, while it is pretty, it isn't good for DBD gameplay and still causes performance issues. Only redeeming quality of that chapter is the perks.
Best: Halloween. It's a full chapter with killer, survivor, and map. With the exception of Sole Survivor I see all the perks from that chapter used in different builds. The perks have continued being used even though there have been some changes to the game over the years and more perks have been added. While I know most hate Haddonfield I love it since it's a great map for my Trapper.

Bubba is obviously the best, not sure why you bothered asking that. The worst is Badham. Oh, my lord what were they thinking? And Haddonfield gets reworked first just because of memes. Like, c'mon, bruh!

Badham was reworked already, it was in the first batch of "realm beyond" reworks. 😂

Best: Silent Hill
Worst: A Nightmare On Elm Street

Oh no... Now I am scared. And they say this is not a horror game, explain this cold sweat, doubters...

Stranger things was the best IMO. Unfortunately it’s gone now. I don’t think there were any bad licensed DLC’s, but if I had to choose one- it would be Freddy’s. The only reason I say that is because we did not get the Robert Englund Freddy. That in itself is nitpicking.

Best would be Saw probably. Came with a cool survivor it’s 3 good perks and a popular albeit weak killer with 2 good perks. Plus the license holders have been very lenient. Map is terrible but all licensed ones are
Worst has to be RE. Non functional at launch and a terrible map. 2 okay survivors and an uninspired killer. Perks Areopagus but nothing mind blowing. Not to mention the linked cosmetic fiasco

Best: I would say Stranger Things, but it's gone soooo. 100% Bubba
Worst: Probably Resident Evil. The only thing I like about that chapter is Lethal Pursuer lmao

Worst?
Resident Evil, easily. It's not even close.
Best?
Probably Stranger Things or Halloween. Hellraiser would've been up there, but, NFT's so.

Jesus you were fast, you didn't catch the edit that made my post make sense.

Correct.
I am the fastest person to not understand it.

Hawkins was awful too. Glad it’s gone

Best: Silent Hill or Stranger Things
Worst: Freddy

It's hard to decide with other factors (IMO)
These are my picks for licensed DLC
Best: Perks and Power- it's probably Mickey (even though he's considered weak)
Worst: Perks and Power probably Freddie (even though he's "strong" on paper)
These are my picks non-licensed DLC
Best: Perks and Power- it's probably Nurse or Plague (for better or worse)
Worst: Perks and Power- it's probably Legion or Huntress (for better or worse)

Best imo is Silent Hill (with Stranger Things as a close second. Would've said a tie but Hawkins is gone 😭).
Worst (as far as initial release) is Resident Evil because of all the game breaking bugs and dismal console framerate issues and lags. The chapter is much better now (though Nemesis still causes framerate drops for PS4) though on release that was a frustrating and awful experience playing the game for two full months.

Best: Stranger Things, brought somewhat decent Perks for both sides and a cool Killer to play and play against.
Worst: Ash vs Evil Dead, surprised nobody mentioned it. After nerfing MoM, the DLC has nothing except for a Survivor-Skin with some of the worst Survivor Perks in the game.

Best: Silent Hill
Worst: A Nightmare on Elm Street

I think the only reason no one else has mentioned it is due to how forgetful it is.
1 -
Best: Either Hellraiser or Leatherface
Worst: I don't really dislike any of them, but if i have to pick one then I'd go for Ghost Face.

The Saw chapter is nearly perfect imo. The best for the game arguably was the Halloween chapter since it was the 1st license. I'd say for me it's the Saw chapter.
I'd say the worst is Freddy. He's been a constant problem from being OP to too weak to rework to nerf, after nerf till back to being weak now.

Best is Stranger Things, easily.
Best currently available imo is Pyramid Head mostly because he's my main and so I'm incredibly biased (but also Cheryl + her skins are really nifty and I'm glad we got them).
Worst would be probably... Pinhead, because NFTs, single character chapter, and uninspired gameplay. Nemesis for still being a console killer and daring to bring along RPD (but I like Jill and Leon and their perks so idk).
While I dislike Badham and think current Freddy is also boring and uninspired, I fear my 2 years spent as an old Freddy main (and maiming him for a further year post-rework until PH released) has made me incredibly biased to never being able to say ANOES is the worst, no matter how much I'd like Badham to be permanently deleted.

For me, the best overall is Hellraiser or Silent Hill. They capture the theme of the source material very well and the characters are strong+fun.
I think they did an amazing job of capturing the theme of Myers and Ghostface, but they're maybe on the weaker side even if they're fun to play.
I'm not as familiar with Saw or Resident Evil, so I can't rate them fairly.
HOWEVER, being a huge Nightmare on Elm Street fan, we gotta talk about this version of Freddy. I don't feel like I'm playing as Freddy Krueger. I feel like a more generic killer with a Freddy skin.

best is silent hill, worst is a tie between ghostface and hellraiser because one is just the mask license and the other had that nft debacle

Best is Resident Evil. Nemesis is fun to play and easy to learn, and the AI zombies are a really cool innovation that I hope we will see expanded on. Two iconic Survivors, nine alright perks, kickass theme and chase music, and RPD is super fun to play on and is visually gorgeous to boot (puddle reflections in MY DbD??).
Worst is Pinhead. Advertised as a full chapter, but all you get is a single extremely frustrating and annoying Killer and his three meh perks. No map, and nothing for Survivors. He's not even fun to play as or against to boot. At least Ghostface (whose Chapter did the same thing) brought a healthy alternative to Myers' playstyle. Add the whole NFT fiasco in the mix...
Pinhead should be thrown in the garbage dump where he belongs and forgotten about.

RPD fun to play on....
Pinhead has a pretty meta perk and is fun once you learn him.

The on-release version of the ANOES Chapter was easily the best, regardless of how much its current version sucks.
The worst? RE. Period.

I love RPD. The four (formerly five) indoor maps are all in my top ten. Most of the outdoor maps play identically outside of the individual main buildings, so its refreshing to play on maps that force different playstyles.
I can't appreciate Killer powers who give such a passive advantage for absolutely no effort on the player's part. While I'm aware that Nemesis has this to an extent (the zombies acting on their own accord), but Pinhead's chain hunt is ridiculously effective for something that happens independently of, for the most part, anything the Killer player does, and its super frustrating to go against as a Survivor (doubly so in solo queue). Nothing is more controller breakingly frustrating than a random teammate grabbing the box and going down with it, punishing the entire team with movement slowing chains and preventing any sort of generator progress.
