People forgot the fun in video games
and everything they know is competition even though video games are made to enjoy and find people to play with but instead they take it for granted and think it's some Olympics or tournament. Why so serious?

If there's a way to annoy another player, people will do it.
If there's a way to get an advantage over another player people will take it.
If there's an exploit that allows a player to be invincible they'll use it.
If you ask them to care about other players. they won't.
this is pretty much it in a nutshell. It's not the players fault that their jerks it's games fault for letting them be that way. just look at the leatherface mask BS.

Fun isn’t relevant to balance. Unfun things can be balanced. Fun things can be unbalanced. People are not obligated to play intentionally worse for the sake of the other side’s arbitrary enjoyment.

Just clarifying - and I feel this is what you meant anyway, but am clearing this up for my sake - there's a difference between having fun by winning and winning because of being overly competitive.
The former are usually those who play to do well and win, but if they don't they shrug it off with ease and go to the next trial; not phased by what happened. At most, maybe annoyed, but often look to what they can do to improve.
The latter are often those who lose, get extremely angry or upset, and find it difficult to accept defeat. Some of these guys in particular are often missing something in their lives, spoilt or have an immature outlook on life. They'll blame anyone but themselves, because if they are to blame they consider themselves weak.
Returning to what you said and taking into account the above, I do agree that some people are overly competitive. Yet this doesn't mean all people who play well are not playing for fun nor super-serious.

People are sweat lords and need more friends is what it boils down to.
I play to have fun, whether I win or lose. Then you have people out here who are more concerned about efficiency than fun like they're being paid a full time salary to get the best results possible to report to their supervisors or something.
Like.... no one gives a damn if you got a 4k or if you bullied some noob killer if you played like an ass to do it. Go pat yourself on the back and make a cookie I guess because people are just trying to have fun

That is their problem to resolve, fam. We can't help them. Breaking into song will not teach them their lesson. Facecamping them to death might, however. Just bash their skulls with the happiness hammer while they hang on the meat hook of 🌞 and 🌈.

Exactly i play to have fun i treat the game like a Horror Movie. You have you first movie, your sequel, your trilogy and so on and so on. I'm not the best Killer Main but i have fun to escape the mundane of the world. As in life you don't always win, things don't go your way just be respectful to others. Like my grandparents used to say if you got nothing nice to say keep your trap shut. Stay safe out there in the fog and more importantly have fun!

If I don't care about competition then I'd play a single player or co-op game. Playing a competitive game and saying "I hate competition!" is just weird. No one is stopping you from playing House flipper instead.

You know, fam, I took the way you inspire to heart, threw out the cute perks that I fiddled around with, just equipped Undying/Ruin/BBQ and just hooked and caged the same two survivors with my beloved merciless and sadistic Pyramid Head. All four survivors were way to busy to keep their friends alive and the team together, then be doing gens and I finished two games in a row with 4 gens remaining.
It felt strangely cathartic and the doubts, that had been gnawing at the back of my mind, evaporated like thin fog in the morning sun, but somewhat more dark and gloomy, I am sure you can come up with a suitable linguistic metaphore or picture yourself.

That brings a smile to my face, we need more killers like us in this world, I believe. Very often people tell me that I am what's right with the game and that they hope I live a long life so I can continue the good work I do. It is truly fulfilling to make people's experience with the game THAT much better.

I refuse to facecamp survivors. I did it before but I got so bored after a few matches doing it.
However, if a peculiar survivor decides to be an complete and utter douchebag, then I'll force the facecamp card unto it.
