Lag and teleporting on console are back
Has anyone else experienced a lot of lag, teleporting again on console?
I am worried that this year will be like last year where most of the time it was a horrible experience playing.
Is it a console thing againor do pc players experience the same?
I have sound issues too, but I've seen a discussion about that.

I've noticed it too. I believe Scott Jund came up with the theory that BHVR expanded their matchmaking region lock in order to combat queue times some time ago, a little after the introduction of MMR - which, of course, leads to rubberbanding and all that. Plus, console optimisation is not exactly great.

The only thing you can do is turn off xrossplay until your at a better time with more players thats of course if console can do that

Yes we can, and to be honest, sometimes I just want to suffer with others, it makes me feel like I'm apart of a little community, of course survivor queues are ATROCIOUS without crossplay so I have to turn it back on.

Apart from the whole last year and the start of this year I've never had any teleporting or lag experiences on console. Not even in yellow killer lobbies in 2017. So optimization is obviously possible and throughout 2020 (no for long though) it was possible to play without teleporting or lagging or camera turns.
