How do you play against Trickster?
Genuine question. Every time I go against him I can't get away from him because of his knives. What is his counterplay?

Put line of sight blockers in-between you and him. Stick to/prioritise loops with high walls and corners, instead of low wall loops and straight line loops like L T walls. Tap your A and D keys while running to slightly bob and weave left and right, not really losing any distance but making his knives miss more often because of their odd throwing position. Don't drop pallets when you're in line of sight of him unless he's out of knives, or it's a guaranteed stun. Only predrop when out of sight. If he gets close, start spinning around him, it makes it harder to land knives.
Trickster can vary from being very strong in a chase to a complete and utter joke depending on where you're looping him. He also has less knives than you think. Just stick to loops like jungle gyms and the shack, and try to put objects and walls between you and him as you run.

Cut LoS and just SHIFT+W as much as possible, then utilize crouch when you loop around palette.
Try not to vault windows/palette if possible, since he is best at hitting vaulting survivors.

You just run behind walls or big objects where he can't hit you, if you play well, laceration will eventually run off and he will have to start getting hits all over again.
It's really all about just wasting time, like with majority of the killers anyway.

Hope there's high walls to run around. Otherwise you do nothing but die because there's not much you can do. In terms of being oppressive in chase, he's one of the strongest for very little skill required. Hold W and launch 50 knives and land like 8 (or however little he needs to hit you with)

His maximum knife at baseline is 44, his movement speed while wielding knife is slower than survivors, and both accuracy/projectile speed is not that good either.

Some parts of Trickster is like facing bubba in that it's better to force him to m1 you through a window (though realistically that's only going to happen if by some miracle the window is in such an angle that he can't just shoot through it) than to let him get close enough to 100-0 back rev you.
But he's more of a killer that you counter by burning his time. Keep an ear out, run early, keep things in between you, and sadly accept that if he wants you dead, you're probably dead as Oli London is up there with Bubba in terms of hook defense.
I love playing Trickster (especially with how COH is the way it is) but yeah... I don't think he's the most fun killer to go against.

He is pretty easy to loop. Just don't try to loop him out in the open, or in short loops. While technically a ranged killer, he can't down at the same distance as huntress, he is a more of a short ranged killer. Anyway he has a "lullaby", albeit much quieter than huntress. But keep an ear on it. If he sounds like he is getting close, run, run far away into high wall loops. In some high wall loops, such as the shack if run properly it can be nearly impossible for a trickster to down you with his knifes. And since he is 110% it can take a while for him to down you without his power. And if he activates his main event you can stun him out of his power, similar to plague's vile purge. But the easiest counter is high wall loops, that hurts tricksters big time. And also if a tricksters camping be careful since he can shred survivors pretty quickly in short range, especially with his main event.

We all play the other side to do dailies or tome challenges. I mean really play killer and actually buy trickster. If you do that then you would know why people rarely complain about him on the forum.
It's kind of weird that so many posts have suddenly popped up within the last couple of days.

The only counterplay to him are... wait there aren't any besides being lucky with map selection. If you're on autohaven wreckers, it's already a lost cause for survivors.

Hold Shift+W and place ######### in your way.
Also, avoid LoS as much as possible.

Do gens and dont get found cause if he finds you. you be down in seconds cause low loops

If at low wall loop: Die
If at high wall loop: Loop and take the inevitable 2 knives per rotation until you either drop the pallet or die

Don't vault anything. Break LOS, hold W and pray that his accuracy is garbage.
