Long Queue Times
Anyone else experiencing long wait times for matches as a killer or in general? I've sat here for like nearly 20 minutes to wait for a match to play as killer and nothing happened, same thing happened yesterday. After that long wait period, I just closed the game and moved on. Ain't no point in waiting for nearly half an hour to possible get matched with a SWF or toxic survivors.

Huh odd I would of figured that be more survivors? Cause I'm waiting too. Maybe it's early in the morning?

I turned cross play off on Xbox to avoid PC cheaters and legacy SWF and the killer wait is more than 20 min. Its basically unplayable if you want a fair and balanced match.

I have never waited 20 minutes for a killer match, no matter what time of day. I played killer for 5 hours last night, and I didn't wait a total of 20 minutes combined over that entire period (every queue was instant). Even in the morning, the longest wait I have for a killer round is maybe a minute, and that might be stretching it.
Whenever I have a queue, either as survivor or killer, that seems to be taking abnormally long, I'll exit back to the main screen and re-queue in a lobby -- sometimes, I've had a lobby that will just bug out. That usually fixes the issue. I'd say that's what was happening to the OP, if it wasn't happening over multiple days.
As mentioned, if the OP has crossplay off, that could be the answer. I'm on console, and if crossplay is off, that makes queue times go out of whack.

No, I get killer games instantly most of the time but have to wait forever for survivor matches

All my killer queues have been instant.

If my queue as killer goes more than 20 seconds i unready and do some window shopping for a few mins, when i return its back to a ten second wait. Could just be a glitch or time of day?

My Killer ques have never been shorter, although in the morning it might take 3-5 minutes to get a match. In the afternoon I almost immediately get dropped in a lobby.

You're lucky. I haven't loaded into any matches. I've tried this morning and nothing. Second attempt right now and still nothing.
