Pointless Rant About Holding the Game Hostage
Killer: the pig / we destroyed her
The Dwight had boil over and kept going to tall floors, so she was tryina make him bleed out for the 1 kill. We got the gens done without her hooking anybody. It happens, but lets move on to the next match right? No!
The Zarina and the Laurie had other plans. They 99'd the gates and stood in from of the lever for like TEN MINUTES just standing there, refusing to open it so I could leave and the game could end.
The killer had gone AFK as many do when they just wanna wait out the EGC timer, or whatever.
Why does BHVR not have a game replay? I play on console, not everyone records every single one of their matches. Why does BHVR not have a system -- 5 years into this damn game -- where you can just report someone for holding the game hostage and they can go back and be like, "yeah thats what they did"

It's not something pointless. It should be complained about. If a player, survivor or killer, are standing still for 30 seconds, a prompt should appear that will allow you to perform an animation of pushing them out of the way. I don't understand why something like this hasn't been implemented yet.

I assume they don't feel like watching thousands of pointless videos from people reporting just because they lost. I already see TTV players report for absolutely anything.

So 2 survivors refused to open a door while a bleeding out dweeb and a pig were afk on the top floor, the 4th survivor I'm guessing was you doing what? Why not just open the door yourself?
I'm not seeing anything in your post that the game was actually being held hostage and just potatoes waiting out a bleed out.

So the match was you, Dwight, Zarina, Laurie. Dwight was dying on the ground, Zarina and Lori opened the gate to 99%. And what did you do?)) Why didn’t you open the gate yourself?)

The Dwight was already dead, and if someone is standing in front of the gate lever YOU CAN'T OPEN IT. I cannot touch the lever to open the gate if they are standing in front of both of the door levers

Yeah some people read 2 words and they're like "OP TRASH GARBAGE DWEEB DEAD AFK WHAT?"

Similar to the situation when the hook could only be approached from one side for unhooking?

Survivors are much worse than killers in term of holding the game hostage, lol.

Yeah if someone stands in front of the lever they can't be touched by anyone else. I tried walking around and doing it, but it's impossible -- fun fact if two survivors approach the lever at the same time they can body block eachother from touching it as well.

Then perhaps the developers should solve this problem as with hooks in due time. And the feedback system we have is crap, yes. But while there is no progress in this direction, and there is no planned match replay system, they answered about it on Q&A.

Typo in 2nd paragraph "from" lever instead of "front" so misinterpreted it.
Reset: OK yeah holding game hostage always a problem and needs some sort of fix which may never happen who knows, but that situation with 2 different players body blocking both exit gate switches with out moving for that long would be like winning the lottery. Likely never happen again.

That's a giant load of suck, im sorry.
As far as the recording, on Xbox I've notice the share button seems to record the last minute or so of gameplay regardless of the game, I believe it can be adjusted, but am not near my Xbox to check.

So that I can body block my rancor target, of course. Shh... Don't tell anyone. It is against teh rulez.

I would prefer if you gave them a loud, audible slap before pushing them but that works I suppose.
