Just wondering if we can get any kind of estimate.

Itll probably be never as its easier to avoid a lawsuite not that its behaviors fault mind you but its just better to take away the tools people use whem they are trying to be mean

I didnt say it right what i meant is that its just better to avoid any potential bad publicity as it can often give the company a bad rep

Honestly, they could change it so you need to be a member for 1 month and have 100-200 upvotes in total before you can post links or images.
Trolls won't usually go through that just to post an image or two & get banned.

Wait, you guys can post images? I wouldn't know, I've been stuck on applicant for almost a month even though I nearly have 400 upvotes.

Huh, i just noticed that you can’t post pictures. It was probably due to the troll accounts that would post very disturbing pictures.
I agree with OP, you should be a member for while before getting to post pictures again.

Hi, as you've heard the images were very disturbing. I'm working with the hosting company to implement things to make it safer for all of us. It's not quite as simple as only allowing posters who have a certain amount of posts the ability to post images as we of course have to consider things like tech support, bug reports where images are pretty vital and we don't want to restrict users from receiving help.
For right now, the ability to post images will be switched off during the night EU times, and over the weekend whilst we assess the situation and look for a longer term solution - the forum is growing a lot and my concern is that these things will happen more. So I really want something implemented that protects everyone, because people really shouldn't have to see those images and I am so sorry for those that did, they were utterly sickening.
This is not a decision we made lightly, but due to the ongoing situation this was a step that we really had to take.

I am so very sorry that you were also affected by those images, I know completely how you feel - I was the same, and I don't have a weak stomach but it made me throw up also.

If someone interacts enough to get 200 upvotes and waits a month just to. Be a ######### then honestly that's even sadder.
It's not abuseable, but it is incredibly telling over their character.
