I got an email that i was sent ingame message + the shards ..i went into the game. No message dont even know where the message would be if im offline from the game and guess what...no shards eather.
I guess i'm just going to stop hoping to get them. Glad some of you got them.

I never got mine, and I didn't submit a ticket about it bc I figured that support was getting flooded with them and it wouldn't do much. However, with the most recent update, should I submit a ticket bc I "slipped through the cracks", even if it's just for documentation purposes?

At this point... why not just give the shards to everyone who owns bubba? I guess (and hope) that would be easier to check for you...

i mean, there are only few people left here complaining, seems too difficult to look in these cases and at least silent the most vocal people, who made the effort to get here and made them aware of problems

Guess we don't deserve the shards, while some others deserve to get them twice for no reason. Seems fair to me.

If I'm being honest there's a lot more people who didn't get the shards who are just quietly waiting than are actually posting (just need to look at Twitter for that). But people just stopped commenting because there's nothing really more to say. They don't have their shards, they've been told to wait, try out a fix, they report back they still have no shards, and then they wait.

and some people surrender to their fate and some don't
and there are still things to say, like how we feel, that they are treating us like crap and how low that is

we all know, that only some got their shards, for what reason else do they ignore us, when almost everyone got shards and it would be easy then, giving proper support to the few left that didn't got them?

Well, it's Friday, and we know they don't work weekends, so given that I still don't have any gosh darn shards I suppose I won't receive any news until the 7th at the earliest. I think they're just going to ignore the problem and hope people stop posting about it.

No shards for me either, despite getting an email from support yesterday saying they have sent the remaining ones out and to check my game. Checked yesterday and today, nothing. /facepalm

A code would have fixed this from the start. Players who didn't own or play Bubba got them, and others claim they got 12k. Does it even matter at this point?

I dont understand how it is so hard to give out Shards to people. This whole thing has become nothing but a dumpster fire and BHVR will either just give everyone shards or brush it under the rug and forget it even happen like most of the issues they cause.

How do you think they were trying to do this? Since they seem to fail so spectacularly and all.
Assuming their db actually tracks hours spent on individual killers, they must have taken a snapshot of db right before an update that took the masks away, and queried a sample of users with hours on bubba more than zero. But it appears either they don't track those hours very well, or the snapshot was corrupted or something. They might have tried to go back to a (hopefully regularly) backed up db snapshots to remedy this for at least a part of userbase - those that didn't buy or started playing bubba right after that announcement, but if that worked I probably would have gotten shards being a long serving bubba main.
If they didn't track individual hours on killers than it's even more interesting. How would they know that you did actually play him? Steam achievements? Mask unlock progress?

Maybe they log the individual games (sessions) played and now they filter all games with Bubba and then try to connect that session with a player. If it's that way, then i see how you can mess this up
