I'm rejoining DBD. (rant spoof)
With all the "tunneling", "camping", and mechanic "abuse", dbd is neigh on unplayable. Though everyone was shocked and crushed when I said I'd leave forever, I'm back, because it's actually a pretty great game that I care about.
In all seriousness, though, I just took a break for a couple of months to play different games*, and I'm coming back now (not that anyone cares).
*I've got to highly recommend "Frostpunk" it's an excellent game.
Anyhow, how've things been here on the forums?

The usual, Killers complaining about gen-rushing, Survivors complaining about tunneling and camping, though some unsavory images have been posted a few days ago.
Dead Man's Switch is a hot topic currently, because it synergizes with an already hated (loved) Killer, Artist. It has counters but people are ignoring them.
Pig is also getting talked about, AFK'ing in front of a box with her Ultra Rare Add-on that spawns Survivors with traps on their heads is a new "exploit"

Wait, we lost Gann? I saw StarLost (and was anguished), but I didn't see TheGannMan go... I'm heartbroken. Lately we've lost a bunch of posters I really respected and enjoyed hearing from. The forums are lesser for it.
But it's good to have you back, Bennett - I did notice you were missing! I took the same kind of break a couple of months ago, and I'm probably on my way to take another one soon. Everyone else has mostly covered the current hot topics, I think. Boil Over was a huge mess that just got cleaned up (though it's still abusable in game, the update that'll fix it hasn't gone live yet), now everyone's talking about bodyblocking Pig. CoH complaints have kind of died down with its recent nerf, but it's still pretty powerful. Other than that - every killer is OP, survivors are OP, BHVR coddles [side I don't play] for money/incompetency/spite, buff Nurse, nerf Pig. You know how it is.
I've been seeing surprisingly little Ringu hype, considering we'll be getting a huge license next month. Kind of wonder why that is.
Definitely play the Lunar event while it's still around - tons of bloodpoints from it and some pretty neat cosmetics. Also bouncy envelopes, if you get lucky on Swamp. Those are hilarious.

I'm honestly surprised people cared so much about my absence! It feels good to know I was missed, in an apologetic way.
Have a nice vacation from DBD! (I really do highly recommend frostpunk, it's a bit pricey*, but it's really good)
*It's $30 now, but I got it for free with prime gaming.
I'll keep an eye out for the bouncing envelopes.

I used to play the guitar. I was a naughty boy and…permanently borrowed an expensive looking multitrack-studio-thingy-ma-jigger from school and I would make my own songs with it.

There's a site called soundtrap (which I believe is free) that you can use if you'd like to try to replicate the piece of equipment I think you mean.
