Tell me MMR isn't working without telling me MMR isn't working.
I'll go first. FYI this match was insanely unfair for them and I won (gave the last guy hatch) in about 2 minutes.

4 red rank survs with 4000 hours each and a grey killer with 100 hours= noed

SBMM was a mistake

Grades are not used for matchmaking. They reset every month.

Only one of the guys even had a perk equipped xD I get the feeling they were very new to the game

I think you're missing the forest from the trees.
Look at their loadouts or lack their of, their ranks, their scores.
This is probably the very first game for half of the survivors in the game and one of the first for the 3rd.

SBMM is working for survivors, not for killers.
Basically, opponent can have same power level, but not you.

Had another game where they were clearly new to the game, killed 2 and there were 2 kates left. Scratch marks led to 2 lockers side by side and the 2 Kate's synchronised slowly coming out of the lockers together while I was staring at them. Had to let them both live after that. It was adorable xD

You sure about that tho?
How do you know it isn't the matchmaking prioritizing time over mmr?

When I play survivor I get much better teammates than before but as killer I get super sweaty swfs every game so I think mmr was just another survivor buff.

still a problem

Me and my two 4K hour teammates playing against a streamer with a similar amount of time
Then there's the Meg with 15 hours, you know, to make the match fair.

Hows that a problem? You wanna wait forever ever?

If the game is not active enough to find a group of survivors or a killer for a group of survivors that actually have perks then that's a problem

I think the problem is that this is a thing at all. There's such a huge difference in amounts of players in each role (as in a whole ton more playing survivor than killer) so much so that to keep que times somewhat acceptable, the system actually has to pit new survivors against veteran killers. To me this says that there are not enough newer killer players, the reason being that trying to start as killer and trying to learn is much more punishing than it is to learn and start with survivor. Also that overall playing killer is just in general more punishing all around. The higher skill levels you play the less mistakes you can make without causing a loss for yourself, while the survivors are essentially able to make 4 mistakes per 1 killer mistake, and still be at the same level.

Guys, guys, I know that at first glance it looks bad that the matchmaking system is pairing people up at random. But have you ever played hockey?

Why no I haven't care to explain my good sir

The date of the post is February 5th. Are you telling me that not one of those survivors has at least ranked up to copper since January 13th? 🙄

Have to get 2 kills 2 escapes somehow

It does after a certain time, No one wants 30 minute queues just to get a perfect match.

Maybe these survivors are really good at hockey idk

I was just casually playing Survivor with my 1500 hours, I was facing an incredibly good Plague. Turns out she had over 14.000 hours in the game.
And not so long ago, I was playing Nurse. I got 4 survivors and non of them had over 120 hours in the game.

I wonder when BHVR will figure that out lmao
2 -
When they will admit it the will be already dead

There really is no matchmaking in this game and its obvious.
The excuse 'you wanna wait forever' doesnt even fly because the wait times are ALREADY forever. I'd much rather wait 5 more minutes then have a Irri 1 ranked killer take us all out by the 2 minute mark.
