Best generic perks
what do you think the best generic perk is for each side? I'd say spine chill and sloppy butcher

Noed and inner strength

Poor Nancy getting reduced to a base perk. We were once proud creatures who held our heads high above the self care users.

I’m glad I bought everything before they went away. They replaced Nancy with a dude for the perk logo lmao how lame is that

Survs actually have some pretty useful ones with Kindred, Spine Chill, Inner Strength, Resilience, We‘ll Make It
For killers it obviously depends on the killer, generally Noed is always an option especially on lower skill levels, Fearmonger and Jolt are pretty good, Slippy Butcher if you are not a one-shot killer, Bitter Murmur for Huntress is great,

Just a disclaimer, I don't consider Steve, Nancy and Demo's perks as generic. I bought those characters so it still says it's their perk even after prestiging a character.

whispers and spine chill

BBQ and borrowed time.

Those aren't general perks, they're teachables.

NOED / Spine chill

Best killer generic is probably NOED, it's pretty effective at getting an extra down or two. Whispers and Fearmonger are also solid. (Fearmonger used to be a Demo teachable but now it's a general perk.)
I'm a killer main, but I'll take a stab and say Kindred is one of the best general survivor perks, at least for solo survivors. Spine Chill is also solid.

Resilience
NoED
Whispers

For me it is Whispers, 100% Whispers day and night lol Depending on the Killer and/or build, Deerstalker and Sloppy Butcher get honorable mentions too.
As for my favorite generic Survivor Perk...Plunderer's Instinct, I use that one quite a bit for fun loot builds, and I know sometimes finding an item can mean an advantage you may not have had without it. I used Premonition quite a lot when I started the game, then eventually moved to Spine Chill and felt comfortable enough to enjoy throwing on Resilience depending on build, challenge, etc, I think they are also great.

Spine Chill, and I’ll probably get a lot of disagreement on this, but Spies from the Shadows. Depends on the killer though.

Spine Chill, Resilience, Inner Healing... For Survivors
NOED, Fearmonger, Whispers, Bitter Murmur.... For Killer

Isn’t Kindred a generic perk, I would say it’s by far the best.

Spine Chill for survivor, NOED for killer.

Spine Chill and NOED

How is nobody mentioning Spies From the Shadows? I genuinely consider it as the best short-range tracking perk right next to Nurse's - but Spies is a general perk!!

I did! 😁

Survivor: Spine Chill. Always running that perk no matter the circumstances.
Killer: Bitter Murmur. Combined with an end game build or generally for tracking. I would give noed an honorable mention, but i personally never use it.
