Matchmaking ban too harsh :E
One match today, a guy DC'd after being downed in first minute or so. So I DC'd too because the killer was then refusing to hook, cba to waste my time.
Wait for MM ban to expire....
Next game, Pig with the addon that gives everyone a helmet. She didn't chase anyone, just blocked one of the puzzle box things, which was my final one. Upon reaching it, was just blocked and not attacking. So I DC'd.
Now an extra long wait :/

Sounds like the function is working as intended.
My bans are NEVER more than 5 minutes. Because the only time I D/C is when the game legit DC's and not because I punched LEAVE MATCH in a ragequit.

DC after someone else has DC shouldn't be a MM ban..

Just finish the game. The absolute WORST case scenario is you run right at the killer and die on hook. That takes... what? 30 seconds? 45 tops?

the system doesn't understand that you DC'ed because you think the match is over (which it isn't really, 3 survivors are still strong enough to win but that's not the discussion). To the system any DC is intentional and thus punished equally.

Yeah well..Dcing after someone dces you deserve that ban. Dcing after pig prevents you to take your helmet off...well do a gen and let your head explode. If you are slugged to the ground...wait for 4 minutes. Watch youtube do something.
I think DC penalty should be harsher that it is. I have people ragequitting on me just because they dont like the killer im playing with and then insult me in the endgame chat.

Just now played a game where all 4 survivors were still alive when the last gen popped. I downed a survivor that happened to be on death hook and just as I was about to hook, they DC'd. It's for reasons like this the DC penalty exists and should exist.
On the other hand, as the victim of spotty internet on rare occasions, I'm not in favor of a harsher penalty either. I think it's good as is.

SWFs would abuse this. They'd rotate who's DCing so the rest of the group could DC without penalty. No.

Had this today too - a guy on death hook dced when he was hooked. I can´t understand to waste your BP like that.
And just - don´t DC.
I hate all these DC threads because "no fun" blablabla. Then play another game.
