How People are Playing M1 Killers?
I just wanted to complete Pig challenges. Man, M1 killers are so terrible. This reminded me why i stopped play Myers.
I don't know any day will BHVR give some love to M1 killers.

Most M1 Killers have a high killrate, that's why they're not getting buffed

I don't know either. Pinhead has the highest killrate when is Power is really, really bad

M1 killers wouldn't be that bad in chase if some maps were more balanced loop wise (gideon meat plant/ haddonfield/ badham/ fractured cowshed etc.). Talking about PIg, she wouldn't be that bad if her traps weren't RNG based.

With a great deal of pain at times.
But seriously though, it's not that bad. You just have to lean into the meta more than usual.

I enjoy playing basic attack killers more than ranged killers but it’s just a playstyle thing. 🤷♂️ The only time it’s an issue is when a map has a super strong tile area or building and the survivors just keep running to it over and over. Most of the time though not every survivor in a match plays like that and if you break off the ones who do and switch to the ones who don’t then you can down and eliminate the out of position ones and that allows you more time to catch the stronger runners afterward.
But yeah, if you have a full squad of people running to the same super safe tiles over and over it’s a rough time.

Well trapper is fun because there are just some moments where every survivor steps in a trap and its a great pay-off

I main Pig and I like to say that I know the Killer (without using the Video Tape addon)

I am Nemesis main. I know how to break loops with my tentacle. So survivors are never safe at loops, best they can do holding Shift + W. But Pig was so hard. We were running around pallets forever. I just had mindgames and when survivor is smart, it is pointless too.

Myers main for 4 years now. Its not that hard once you've mastered your killer and found your builds and play style you enjoy. Sure you'll get your tough games like with any killer.
Pig I can see being an extra struggle because you have no control over her power. Its RNG based. Nothing you can do if every survivor gets their head trap off on their first try.

I can imagine. Also, Pig quite benefits from STBFL... she's not that weak with it (in my opinion).

After SBMM,i play other game instead playing killer. Now,M1 killer is terrible.

I'm pretty bad at playing killers with high mobility or ranged attacks, so that leaves me with the m1 :(

Quite miserably. I decided to give Legion a go after COH was introduced to the game. Pain, suffering, agony even.

W key andys ruined m1 killers honestly, but if you are able to, play at a time when the comp wannabes arent on.

As Legion, I manage to make it work in the following 3 ways:
- Frenzy makes it so I only ever have to win 1 M1 only chase to get a down which is honestly pretty nice.
- Deep Wounding other people usually gives me enough time to get the down. Not always, but frequently.
- I almost always run at least 1 perk that can give me free M1's in the right circumstances. Stuff like Agitation, Coup de Grace, Trail of Torment, Play With Your Food, Endfury... that sort of thing.

As a former legion main I feel that like honestly and honestly was using bubba as a replacement until I found a new killer to main and as much rng pig has I have fun with her while also getting 3k's meanwhile I had to sweat as legion to get a 2k as boons destroyed the arguably best perk to place on him as people expect it so if they have a boon expect them to heal as soon as they can with the boon

People who play a lot of M1 killers learn the core of killer really really well. Some of the best killers that I verse are pigs, ghostfaces, legions, etc. They know how to mind game. You could know how to play Demo really well but if you haven't mastered core killer gameplay then you're actually going to do worse even if your killer as a whole is stronger.

I'm guessing it's because I used to main legion but I find them fun to go against but most of the time it ends with someone getting face camped during the end game and ending up with 2 or 3 of us escaping
With the fun happening during end game as its fun trying to mind game a legion

I've been having a lot of fun playing legion lately. But he's a very weak killer. I never take the game that seriously when I play him, I just play super chill, which also helps to keep his MMR from getting too high. I feel bad for legion mains.

People don't want to do side objectives like solving the box, so they die.
OR, much like how pig was at one point the highest kill rate killer because of time spent on head traps, people ARE doing the box but it's taking so much extra time away from gens that it's allowing pinheads to kill more efficiently

Killer noobies love to play stealth killers, cuz they are very good in noob stomping. That's all. In high mmr u barely face killers like Pig, GF or Miguel...

Because I like some of them. I am aware they are not the strongest and reminded of the fact whenever I play more viable ones.
Still it doesn't stop me from playing them.

Im in love with most m1 killers <3 I guess Wraith, Myers, Doc, Clown and old Freddy are the killers Ive spended the most time on. U can still hav a good time with them. If I wanted to get a 4k every match Id play nurse only. But even with nurse Ive to sweat an ocean to 4k against smart survivors. Thx to god Im not interested in 4k'ing every match.

I found Nurse so boring to play. When i started this game; Myers, Old Freddy and Nurse was my mains. Nurse was boring one, i loved Myers and Freddy so much. So sad they reworked Freddy.

I'm curious as well. Haven't touched M1 killers in months because it always feels like you have to rely on playing against potatoes. Thank God BHVR hasn't release a M1 killer in like 3 years by now.

It's because that's an overall stat. At high level specifically, his kill rate would never be that high.

Is the answer simply not that these killers are good at lower match-making (which accounts for a significant percentage of the killrate) vs. high mmr where you will absolutely get ######### on if factors (rng, experienced players, map) are not in your favor. At some point you will just lose, there's nothing you can do about it, except hold W and hope you can catch up to a survivor holding W to the next loop.

Its likely mostly from mains. Cause if we're being honest here. Most M1 killers aren't doing a damn thing unless they are being played by mains.

it'll settle down soon, he's a new killer so his kill rate will naturally be higher as survivors don't understand as well how to play against him.

Pig isn't what i'd call an m1 killer. There are some pig players that have mastered in chase ambushes to be absolutely disgusting. (The new rift challenges have forced me to get better at it and i'm glad I have)

I definitely find m1 killers more rewarding when you out play them on loops, but uhh dead hard to pallet exists. So more often then not, I'm just playing killers that just eat through the e to outplay perk.

Piggy is the queen of M1 killers. Her ambush attack is useless in most cases against smart survivors. I mean I also like Piggy, but she is by far one of the weakest killer in DBD.
