What the ######### is the point of mmr if NOTHING CHANGES after losing 10 games in a row because your system is terrible!? I can lose 10 games in a row because the people I got paired with are better than me (Or like that ######### tourny player I got paired with earlier today), and then get ONE SINGLE MATCH that is actually fair, a match where I can actually enjoy myself and not have to deal with the bull ######### that is high mmr. But then there's the thing, right after that actually fun and balanced match, I get put right back up at the top.

"You escaped one game, you're the second coming of Christ now. Here, have fun at high mmr"

If you don't know how to make something function exactly as it should, why on gods green earth would you implement it.

I haven't had fun playing YOUR GAME the last month and a half!!

And don't use the excuse of "There's a mmr cap, there's not enough high tier players to pair with other high tier players, so we just screw over people that aren't that good at the game" I get high mmr survivors as killer, but guess what, AS A SURVIVOR I get high mmr killers. PAIR THEM UP INSTEAD OF PAIRING THEM WITH ME!

Edit: Kills and escapes should NOT play as big of a factor that they do when it comes to mmr. Because then you get killers that camp and tunnel, which is all I've seen of high mmr. Take into account HOW they got the kills and escapes and maybe, juuuuust maybe you'd have a system that's actually worth a damn.

Just remember, you get more flies with roadkill than you do with sugar.

    MMR absolutely has its issues.

However, kills and escapes play such a big role in MMR because there is really nothing else to judge it on. You're not playing for a full jury that weighs everything that happened in the match. A computer is what's judging you mmr, and a computer can't watch your match. A computer can't make decisions. All the computer can use to determine your mmr gain/loss is what you see on the endgame scoreboard. Specifically, if you died or not.

So we just gonna pretend that the last system didn't go off of how well you actually did in a match? It didn't keep track of the stuff you did? Didn't keep track of unhooks, or downs, or heals, or gen progress, or hooks, or nothing?

Am I high? Was that not a thing?

If it makes you feel any better it's happening to me with my meme builds. You can't mess around and play since if you do gens will pop very quickly, not even letting survivors go or dying a lot seems to change things. I don't get campers and the other survivors are really strong but I just wanna relax. I'm not competitive. Zzz.

It did, but it was explained to me that what I said is how mmr works now.
