The New Valentines Outfits . . . ?
Like, let's start off on the positive. The team outdid themselves on David's suit. That suit is gorgeous. The coloring surpassed what I expected. It's great.
Trickster's outfit is . . . from the neck down GREAT. That head though? Who thought that head went with this . . ? This weird dark-blue top-knot / Not Quite Wolftail? And then the lips being covered in foundation? Ugh . . . it's his worst head. This is bad. I so badly want to put the head from his LAST outfit on it, but it's linked and who knows it might mess up his new animations and stuff. I dunno.
Kate's looks better than I thought. When I saw the renders I said " Who the heck would wear this on a date? Aileen Wuornos? " but seeing the purse and gloves and that it's a BERET not a BANDANA like I had initially thought made it better. Though . . . that jacket is terrible. It makes her look like a linebacker. Her other jackets don't make her that broad shouldered and top heavy.

THANK YOU, ugh I hate it so badly for ruining this outfit. . . . why'd it have to be linked? Can't the animation just be linked to a weapon or something from the fit?
It makes me scared because I like Kate's new head but she doesn't have the makeup it looks like they intended to put on her and with how Trickster's make-up is and how Yui's make-up that got added on her last outfit turned out ? I am SCARED for Kate's well being.

As your fellow Kate main I AGREE. We've suffered far too long, BHVR and their Anti-Kate agenda has shown. It is no longer in speculation.
Everytime we get a new head for Kate, it ONLY goes with what it came with OR THEY LINK IT.
We've got recolors of her base head or that ugly ponytail and almost nothing else until thy released the Flower in the Dark head.
Because EVERY other head she gets has SOMETHING ON IT like PURPLE RIBBONS ( there is only one purple outfit ) or they just slap a hat on her base hair.

It's not bad ALL TOGETHER but you HAVE to wear it all together or else she gets the manliest shoulders ever.
I'm probably going to just use the skirt and maybe head with her Flower in the Dark top or SOMETHING. MAYBE it'll be cute with her leather jacket.

and when Kate does get things it's just recolors of her base most of the time. She has more recolors of her base than anyone.

Yeah, Kate's shirt and skirt don't go with any of her other cosmetics, but the hair goes with some of them. Of course, I'll probably get the outfit anyway because I love Kate's cosmetics.

I bought kates because they did a good job. twinkster is a flop it's not even worth for extra korean dialogue and david (not the outfit just in general) he is ugly and loud

See the skirt goes pretty good with the Flower in the Dark sweater, I didn't really check it out with much else but it might go good with the leather jacket. I AM HOPING. I forgot to check. But yeah the top is just way too top-heavy. The jacket needs removed or at least slimmed down. NONE of her other jackets give her man-shoulders. Remove the shoulder pads.

Same for Kate. I'm fine with the jacket, but ever since they "improved" Kate, she went from looking like a sweet, down to earth gal to "I want to see your manager"

I personally like Trickster, I was super anti K-pop killer because I hate K-pop and my friends annoy me with it. But I actually like him. I just don't like this outfit's head specifically. And while I like the outfit from the neck down I even still feel like they could've gone another direction but I'm not mad at this one.

Ethan for Leon maybe. Rebecca is last girl, i want to from RE. Maybe Ada too but i love Rebecca more, she is just so cute.
Probably we will get some outfits from RE this year. But i don't know when.
Who cares Maria, James is best boy of Silent Hill and probably best character. 🤤 He was reason of Pyramid Head. So it was mistake, they did not release Silent Hill with James. Finally i got him and i am happy.

Ethan won't happen until Capcom decides to stop treating his face like it is a mystery. If anything, we'd get a Village outfit for Chris (although I'm unsure how that would work considering normal Chris is already a skin for Leon).

Would be more likely to consider Kate's if they didn't just mess up half of her cosmetics a couple patches ago and not acknowledge it.
Also jaded from spending money for cells outfits after they "reworked" her Golden Cascade hair into a disaster, and still haven't made Claire look anything like her RE2 source material.
My wallet is closed to BHVR until the above issues are resolved.

HALF of her cosmetics are recolors of her base outfit. She has the LEAST number of unique cosmetics out of anyone other than Elodie and Jonah.

Interesting they are not linked in my store. Which one of us have the bug? I am afraid mine is bugged, if everyone else sees them as linked. But it looks great while combining with other pieces. I really hope they unlink them for good.

The outfit that just came out today is not linked, it's the flowercrown that's linked together with the dress it comes with, there is no way to wear it with kate's other stuff unless you do the cosmetic glitch.

Honestly I'm actually really disappointed that they didn't come out with an outfit for Jill valentine. I've been waiting an extremely long time to get new clothing for her and I actually thought they would make something for her considering her last name is valentine! I love the outfits they came out with for these characters but sadly I am a Jill main and never play as those characters.

She is licensed, they can't just " make something " for her.
Her licensed game makers would have to approve of something and generally they won't. They only ever approve of the Xmas sweaters. That's about it. NO licensed character has ANYTHING holiday related EXCEPT those sweaters. It won't happen.

Well that's just disappointing to know than. I'm hoping they will eventually come out with maybe something new in the future that is approved, but as you just explained it more than likely won't happen sadly. That does suck but I still love dbd and I'm going to keep playing, was just hoping for something more. My Fiance will love the trickster outfit for sure though luckly, so lucky him but not lucky me sadly.

If something does come out for her it will 99.9% be something from the game she is from or games she has been in. It WILL be an outfit she has already worn in another game. So she MIGHT get something? but it'll be something you expect.
Amanda is the ONLY one who has gotten something NOT from her movie I think. So there could be hope but I highly doubt it.
and yeah unfortunately he prob won't love the Trickster head and it's a linked set. :(
