Artist - problem with charging Birds of Torment
Hello, I`ve recently started playing Artist and sometimes I have problem with charging Birds of Torment. I have no idea if it`s a bug, or if I`m doing something wrong. Could someone help?
Sometimes when I charge the birds (holding Power button), I just can`t "put them on the field". I make sure that I have all charges ready, so no cooldown is happening. I start charging, charging finishes and nothing happens... No "blue line" shows up and no button prompt to send crows. While holding the right mouse button I`m still at full charge, but that is all... Clicking with left mouse (Attack) button doesn`t do anything...
I have to release the charging button and try it again. And it might work, it might not. This problem shows only sometimes, but still several times throughout one match and when it happens it is very frustrating. It might take me several tries to send crows out and it completely destroys the handling of the killer in that moment...

Are you close to hooked person when you try to do it? Or is there some kind of obstacle in the way?

Sometime crows might be in the direct way of each other or in each other. If that happens you can't place a crow down

Hmm...could me being near hooked person have something to do with it? Not sure now, might have to test it, but I know, that I often hook someone and try to send crows at some close generators. But if it is disabled while being cloise then that might be it.

You can't place crows near the hooked person.

Probably not this, because when it happens then I don`t have any crows... I just cant place any... Then it suddenly starts working :-D But I`ll check what "Shaped" wrote...

Ah, ok then, I guess its to prevent setting them to catch unhookers, is that right? Makes sense, though never tried it... But thanks, it means I can`t send them immediately after hooking... Will try to experiment and find what distance i need to be...
I have maybe six games with Artist, so I`m really new with his power...

I just wanna confirm it :) At least I know its not a bug... Just had a game and I really can`t put crows near hook, but the range is actually pretty big...so it really feels weird without knowing how it works... Not sure about exact distance, but I had to be maybe 10-15 meteres away before I could set up the crows...
So, thanks again and maybe this topic will help someona in the future...

When someone is on hook you need to be 10 meters away before you can put a bird down.

I was gonna post this earlier because I also started playing artist haha. I went to the wiki and I think my issue was I wasn't walking far enough from the hooked survivor or from another bird I put down.
