Pray they've learned from circle of healing. Hell there might not even be a boon in the next chapter.
Hopefully I'm just paranoid. I have severe trust issues from Mikaelas chapter.

Considering Exponential is really... Not great, while COH is busted and Shadow Step is just mid, I don't know what to expect.

My bets are on a reverse ruin. It counters ruin completely with it's power, but if the killer doesn't have ruin, the gen closest to it just does itself.
It seems crazy, doesn't it? But think to yourself "This is BHVR"...and it won't seem so crazy.

2 of the 3 Boons aren't overpowered and they actively nerfed the overpowered one, so odds are pretty good if they have a Boon at all it'll be more in line with the normal two.

People will exaggerate and call at least one of the survivor perks complete OP and new Meta etc pp. If there is a boon perk it will most likely be that one. It doesn’t even matter what the perk does. This has happened since… well I think since ever.
the perks will turn out to be situational at best and won’t be as OP. No one of those people screaming will acknowledge that they were wrong and never talk about said perk again. Though they will always somehow remember their initial take and blame BHVR for making new survs perks OP all the time.
same is always the case for survivors talking about killers power and/or one or more perks btw.

Something to do with either making good skill checks great ones or making great skill checks worth more.
Boon: Vigil is my 2nd guess which has an obvious effect.
I think it's a safe bet we get those two eventually.

A boon that allows survivors to sabo hooks. It'll give each player one token that lasts for 60 seonds and you can run back to it for another. Hooks within the boon radius can be sabotaged free of charge,

very doubtful they release a OP Boon Perk they usually tend to make things weaker after releasing a very strong Survivor perk that was nerfed (COH) so doubtful this time around we'll see anything OP more and likely just useless Survivor perks that are vomit combination of already designed perks thats my prediction.
Also possibly a single good Killer perk we usually don't tend to get more then one. If any at all.
Chapter wise I'm fully expecting a Anti Loop Killer that is point and click for downs with little to no skill involved as that has been the cycle thus far.

Yea, nerfed with 12.5% decrease to speed when healing yourself, they should just make it give healing boost only when healing someone else, it would still be busted, but not as busted as it is now.

Boon: JustDoBones - All boon effects have their range increased by 18m, also grants a passive 10% haste to all survivors inside the boon effect.

The way boon perks are going it's either going to be stupidly broken or niche that no one will run it.
There's really no middle ground for boons since bhvr doesn't want to give the perks actual counterplay.

When the killer snuffs a boon, it automatically relights elsewhere destroying the bone. Two birds, one stone. We nerf NOED and survivors can stop wasting their time relighting their boons, every (survivor) is happy.

Even Better Kinship: If another Survivor is hooked within 24/28/32 metres of this totem while Even Better Kinship is active, the Struggle Phase timer is paused until this totem is snuffed.
It punishes facecamping without hurting proxy camping, which is what the devs said they wanted to do.

My money is on a boon vigil to help survivors use Dead Hard more than once in a chase. Imagine how fun that will be for survivors!

I don't think there were concerns over boil over becoming OP, but more that the buff was turning it into a bully tool.
That said, undoubtedly -something- will be made out to be 'super meta', 'evidence of dev bias' and 'the reason the game is dying', and then it peaks at a 2% pickrate for half a week before never being seen again.

BHVR doesn't learn much from their mistakes, so something like:
Boon: Forgotten issues
While in the boons radius you recover exhaustion while running. All status effects last 50% less time.
It is completely possible.

I expect something along the lines of this:
Boon: We´ll run forever.
- As long as the survivor is inside the Area of Effect, it Replenishes the exhausted bar while running.
Boon: You won´t make it.
- All hooks inside the Area of Effect are broken until the Boon is cleansed.
Boon: Light it up.
- As long as the survivor is inside the Area of Effect, items don´t lose charges.

I expect a perk that the community will cry about, which actually isn't that strong. If that's a boon totem, we'll wait and see.
