If this doesn't change your mind about fnaf being in dbd then I don't know what will
If your saying that fnaf is for kids or that it doesn't fit then I don't what to say to you

Dead by daylight fans and FNAF fans arguing
"Fnafs for kids" "It has a disturbing lore"
"The Creators a transphobe and Homophobe" "No he is not"
"Its a cheap a cheap jumpscare simulator "It was scary till kids ruined it"
Me who enjoys both

Damn do you really need the 83 line breaks for 6 sentences, 3 images and a YouTube link?
Also, sadly, I feel like my main argument against it's inclusion has only been vindicated with Ringu. Fnaf's genre aligns more with psychological horror than it does action slasher survival horror, and everyone is complaining about Sadako being weak af (even though her power is one of the most lore accurate ones to date). I don't see its inclusion making people happy- either it's lore accurate, and weak, or it's not lore accurate, and people are unhappy because of that. Not to mention you then have the extremists on both sides like "If this isn't perfect I'm quitting/If this gets into DBD, I'm quitting".
In terms of the Creator thing, I'm glad that the IP currently belongs to Steel Wool, and I hope that if we do get a fnaf chapter we get one of the later characters (ie Security Breach and onwards) mostly because of the... uncomfortable feeling I get with most things very closely associated with Scott nowadays.

thank you for the rancid formatting and a few 3 pixel images, i am truly moved

At this point I really want BHVR to either just ######### make the chapter or come out and say they'll never do it, just so people stop ######### talking about it.
Other than the usual posts that get repeated here, this topic is the most spammed thing on these forums.

- It doesn't deserve to stand alongside real horror icons. People put a lot of work into developing great franchises from the start, and putting a flash game that only existed so youtubers could overreact and squeal for views would be insulting.
- The owner is controversial and supports policies that alienate large amounts of the DBD community that BHVR are keen on supporting. Many of us do not want a chapter that gives money to someone who actively supports politicians with those policies.
- You can argue all you like for how "scary" a bunny is, but we all know from day 1 everyone's just going to be subjected to the walking furry rule 34 ensemble cast.
- Their community, as proven by the constant nagging, spamming and repetition of the exact same bullshit about the same topic, is super goddamn annoying.
- There is no depth to any of the characters that facilitates a power. Literally all anything does is run and squeal in your face, and that's meant to be a "scare."

Another FNAF post….
Have you thought that the reason is because FNAF is not meant to be a chasing game? FNAF SB literally released and the AI was so bad it could complement campaigns in cod games, was a buggy unfinished mess, and had a speed run timer of like 4 minutes or something, you sit down and close doors or throw on a mask, thats fnaf, not a cat and mouse game, the characters aren’t designed for the asymmetrical setting due to the fact all they are is just souls of children in robots while one robot is special enough to have a rotting corpse inside of it, I understand a concept exists for Springtrap on the internet, however I don’t remember him having the ability to command entering and exiting realities in the game, while for Pyramid Head’s case its literally the powers of silent hill

Its a joke guys why are yall acting so butthurt
If your so annoyed by this then why did you click on this?
I'm gonna take a gander and say IT is a license you all want to see well I don't like IT and think that's a stupid license but you don't see me complaining
Can we not resort to Harassments and bullying to tell people to shut up but fnaf is a license people including myself want to see can we all just let bygones be bygones?
Again its a joke if you take offence to this or take this seriously there must be something wrong with you
6 -
Bestie where tf did anyone say to shut up or harass you all that happened was people disagreed with your post + complained about the formatting
15 -
Tbh i find fnaf cringe

FNaF would be the nail in the coffin for DbD. It would shift the age demographic by double digits to kids who can only buy what mom and dad let them buy as opposed to people who have purchase power.
I doubt the FNaF powers that be will allow it anyway. They ja e said as recent as last year there are no plans for online multi-player. Furthermore, they are already contracting aspects of the game with several studios who do work on multi-player games, thus they jave existing partnerships should they change their mind.
2 -
jesus christ what happened to bill
is he the anniversary killer?
4 -
Yeah the formatting was bad
And when it came to the harassment thing I said that because lots of people are toxic to fnaf fans in the dbd community I love both games and that's what this post was all about making fun of the extremes of both ends
(I guess I should've worded my earlier response better)

He saw monstrosities beyond his comprehension
2 -
Lol that meme was pretty funny lol
0 -
I don't want FNaF in DbD RN for the sole reason that I know BHVR wont do it justice.
2 -
It is for kids and it's a poorly made flash-tier game that makes games on newgrounds look well done. Simon says that plays jumpscare.mp4 while you stare at a still background.

Could you imagine a movie with fnaf + (insert iconic horror character here) ?
1 -
Maybe if Scott wouldn’t get any money whatsoever from it, sure.
4 -
Yes. Especially if it was a child's play crossover. Voodoo vs remnant tech. Crazed serial killer trapped in a doll vs crazed serial killer trapped in an animatronic. Andy vs Gregory.
0 -
Lol even Chucky doesn’t fit with FNAF imho
but each to their own
1 -
Horror icon with almost 40 years of consistent lore? Yeah, he's probably too good to include with the killers from franchises that can't decide if their characters died or not between movies, not to mention bubba/jeb/Dave/whatever the hell his name and backstory is this movie.
But unless they're just going to make a child's play game (which would rock) I guess we're stuck with this.

Another one.

The thing that'll definitely not win over the ones in doubt is when these kinds of threads appear at least twice a week.
Like, I'm in favour of FNaF in DbD, and I'm getting annoyed at these threads.
7 -
People who get annoyed at a thread existing, and then decide to comment on that thread (keeping it on the first page where they have to look at it, rather than just ignoring it and letting it die off) are some of my favorite people.
5 -
Yes, well, if OP isn't made aware of the fact people are annoyed by them, they're just gonna make another one later down the line.
6 -
Nope...still didn't change my mind. Try something else.
4 -
Judging by the op, I'm guessing he is quite aware, didn't seem to stop him.
0 -
I do make posts on fnaf but only 3
A chapter concept
A poll
Another poll
Another poll
and that's it
1 -
And I'm fine with it.
Make as many threads as you want asking for the things you want, everyone else does.
0 -
How do you have so many line breaks in every post? It's mind-boggling.
1 -
I think that William Aften would make a better survivor than a killer. I could definitely see him being a stand alone release.
0 -
I just think it makes it look organized
0 -
What would help make it look organised if if you were to make a new line for each new point.
Like this- this is fine. It's a single line break to help ensure it's still relatively simple to read and not just the Great Wall of Text that you have to scroll through and get lose in. Just making a new paragraph is usually for the best, actually.
Naturally, when you're moving onto something else entirely (like at the end of this comment) then having the extra space is beneficial, but usually you want to stick to just the one hit on the enter key.
What isn't fine is when your sentences are disjoined and then a lot
of meaningless line breaks are used
Despite the fact that there's no use in doing so.
It just makes your writing look disorganised and difficult to read- you swing back from the block of text to text that's too spaced out.
(Also- as a general tip, seperate speech through new lines or a slash, like this:
"FNAF has disturbing lore"/"No it doesn't lol"
or
"FNAF has disturbing lore"
"No it doesn't lol")
PLEASE NOTE this is not me trying to have a go at you or insult you in any way- I'm trying to give some constructive criticism and if it comes across in a different way I am genuinely sorry <3

The idea of bringing fnaf to dbd its like adding Goku as a survivor and Majin bu as a killer. It has no place.. I get that fnaf has some fans but for me its just a really stupid game.
Im one of those person that don't get scared easily or at all, in fact almost no movies has given me a "fear" feeling with the execption of "IT" that movie is a masterpiece. Compare fnaf to IT and you will see that fnaf is a baby in diapers in comparison.
1 -
It doesn’t matter what IP it belongs to Scott created FNAF it doesn’t matter if steel wool owns the rights Money will still go to Scott.
4 -
You may have meant it as a joke, but people are well past the point of entertaining this joke from anyone anymore. Not saying the level of venom should be directed at you, but literally dealing with people who aren't joking around about this subject has been an exercise in deep aggravation. Setting aside the game structure, creator issues, etc. people just want fnaf fans to just settle down and ease off the constant copium posting and being generally obnoxious when it comes to dbd.
If the chapter happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it doesn't. Making constant threads about it isn't going to get out any faster. It's been a repeating thing for well over a year. Posting something in a public forum and telling people they could just ignore, while not incorrect, has never worked and they are within their rights to post their disagreement.
6 -
"He wouldn't make a unique killer."
Glances at Sadako and what they came up with.
At this point, it is pretty obvious basically no killer is living to their full potential. Springtrap as a basic m1 would be better than whatever their favorite as a basic m1 would be. Unless it happened to be Charles Lee Ray or Jason Vorhees, I suppose. And realistically, they know that. Just getting the IP is enough to excite fans. It doesn't really matter what they do with it.
To be fair though, the ball is in their court. It is not really up to Behavior. If it was, we would definitely get him as for every person who hates FNAF and refuses to purchase it on principle, we have a few people willing to buy it and DBD for the first time.

Damn I got Ratioed
0 -
i still do not understand what ratios are or why they matter ngl
1 -
It means that a comment has more likes than the original post
1 -
I'm not against FNAF coming to the game if there is a audience for it i say why not. my question is how would he it work in game?
1 -
You listed 4 posts and didn't include this one bringing total to 5.
3 -
BHVR probably wouldn't do an FNAF chapter anyways. It would be hypocritical of them to do that, especially after their talks about supporting inclusivity for LGBT+. And Scott wasn't interested in further projects either prior to his retiring. So it's not that likely he would accept it either.
2 -
All I am gonna say is that Fnaf was on the Satisfaction survey which means it's on a list of potential chapters.
Like it or not, it's BHVR's game so they will add whatever they want unless they say no "Aka Jeepers Creepers for good reasons".
1 -
If they can get it they sooner or later will - they need more players and it will surely bring some.
3 -
I call BS on the lgbtq stuff but Scott is not the kind of guy who likes crossover so I agree with you there
1 -
An error on my part
0 -
Even though I am a fnaf fan I will admit I agree with you for why you want a fnaf chapter because I want people want to stop arguing about it
I'm a guy btw
0 -
I'm not a FNAF fan by any stretch. I tried to play the first game and literally fell asleep. Tried the newest one, which was definitely more fun as you actually get to move around and hide and kill animatronics, but it's a buggy mess that makes DbD look practically pristine by comparison.
I do want a FNAF chapter in DbD however, for a few reasons.
1. The property fits. People can claim all they want that it's not "scary" or it's "for kids". However we have stranger things already (or did). Of the 5 nephews and nieces I have under 12 years old, none of them care for FNAF. 3 had "Upside Down" parties for their birthdays. (Funny story there, my youngest sister used real paint on her walls for the lights, so it's still there 2 years later) so that seems much more the "for kids" property of the two. The story is basically the angry spirits of killed kids haunting the suits their dead bodies were shoved in killing everyone. Add in the entity and that's basically Rin's origin. The primary antagonist is an undead serial killer who's body is held together by a disgusting and torn up/burned animatronic bunny suit. That's creepy.
2. I want a pizza place map. Ever since I was about 16, playing laser tag in an abandoned chuck e cheese and volunteering at RPHH, I knew the two would fit (actually tried to get rocky point to consider making the abandoned CC a new haunted house)
3. New killer = new perks! More variety! Even if I end up not liking playing as the new killer or survivor, the new perks may be fun. I know that's an optimistic view a lot of people don't have, but at the end of the day I'm for anything that expands the variety and could break up the pattern of my survivor matches always being against the same 3 killers.
Now, as far as the arguments against.
1. "It will lead to furries infesting us!" - Will it though? For one, furries are already literally everywhere, because wanting to dress up like a dog or whatever doesn't mean they don't have any other interests, and for two, who cares about furries? I've seen this argument A ton of times, but like, what's the worst they are going to do? Bad fanart? Google rule 34 Leatherface sometime, we've already hit the bottom of that particular barrel. I've seen some spirit and huntress stuff that just describing here would probably get me perm banned from the forum. So this seems like worrying that you left the sink on when your town is being flooded by a hurricane.
2. "FNAF is just jump scares" - yup, and all the first TCM was is jump scares and bad metaphors to the cattle industry. #########, Michaels perfected the jump scare. This argument is usually brought up to suggest that the gameplay wouldn't fit, but that doesn't matter because nobody is trying to bring in gameplay. They just want the characters. Bringing in PHead didn't add any silent hill mechanics to the game. Why would bringing in Springtrap add FNAF mechanics to the game? Answer, it wouldn't.
3. "The creator hates the LGBTQIA+ community". - this one is harder to argue against. I am firmly of the type who believes that while free speech is important and should exist fully, there are consequences for your actions, and sometimes the consequence is that everyone thinks you suck and don't want to give you money anymore. I do wonder if he owns Vanny, the killer in the new game, as I understand it, he didn't make the new one, so his rights may not extend to the new characters introduced with it. Other than that? You gotta follow your own conscience. If they did a chapter and nobody bought it, it would be a hell of a way to tell Scott to go f his bigot ass.
0 -
If they did a fnaf chapter Vanny would be a legendary skin for Ghostface , Legion or Myers
also Scott is not a bigot I generally don't understand why people still use this as a argument I think its mostly just people who are misinformed or let Emotion get in the way of reason plus this has been debunked and Scott clarified is reasons for voting for those Canadettes Scott has only donated 40,000 dollars to the Anti Lqbtq+ politicians but 1000,260 dollars to pro Lqbtq+ groups Fnaf fan game devs and a Panda sanctuary
Damn also I'm glad you were Unbiased unlike way too many folks in this page
