Are we ever going to see Solvent Jug get buffed?
For those of you that don't know, Clown's addon Solvent Jug got buffed on the 5.5.0 PTB.
However, this meant that Solvent Jug and Makeup Kit had the same effect, but instead of buffing Makeup Kit as well, they just didn't buff Solvent Jug, which was a shame.
I think it'd be cool if they buffed Makeup Kit to 2.5-3 seconds, and then Solvent Jug to 2 seconds. It's kind of weird that the buff just disappeared. I don't want this to be like Open Handed again where we have to wait months for it to actually be buffed.

Yeah, but that means buffing Clown. And we all know that his hidden potential hasn't been discovered yet, so this could make him a wee bit OP.

He isn't a bad killer honestly. People give clown a lot of crap but his anti-loop is very solid, especially in the hands of a seasoned player. It's not Pyramid Head level where you are decimating survivors through walls and never kick pallets, but it's more than enough to basically never be looped.
I do brutal / bamboozle clown and I never get looped, only fed pallets.

I second this.
I have a lot of fun with clown, but I also do think he could use a slight buff.
nothing major, just a few addon tweaks or making some sort of built in slowdown. (like having intoxication give incapacitated for 20-30 seconds or something.)

Well I only run him with beefy addons. I will say he is add-on reliant for certain. 5-6 bottles of ether / bleach is my go-to. The difference between having extra bottles + extra slowdown vs not is just insane. Stock clown is garbage tier.
Bleach/ether clown can get hits at a ton of normally safe tiles, and relatively effortlessly. Bleach + Ether bottles are pretty devastating too but I don't ever go in with just 4 bottles. I am not sure they really needed a 1% nerf though.

My guess is they were probably worried about stacking the two addons.
Imo, buff solvent jug to 1.5 and then increase makeup kit to 2.5.

Probably not. Flask Of Bleach got nerfed when it wasn't that good to begin with.
