Please This Is Out Of Hand
There are to many boons you have a boon that gives you unbreakable, you have a boon that heals you 45 % faster, you have a boon that hides noises, scratch marks, and blood
Not to mention cobbled by perks that not only increase healing but gen progression also bite the bullet, leader, spine chill, the Felix perk Desperate Measures
Ace's Ante Up,Lucky Break now the new perk parental guidance which has no cool down
Please that is enough do you realize how hard the killer job is.Its hard enough for the 1 v1 and now you have every survivor basically can reset any progression you make as killer. You need to now give every killer an expose addons to just to counter this
2 gens left every survivor resetted and you have to break off a chase on to start the same process over and guess the survivor you let go their fully healed you stand hardly no choice against high MMR survivors like this
Please consider to stop making healing perks and boons or give all killers and exposed addons star struck, make your choice is situational at best.

The biggest problem in this game is to many pallets, I don't know why this isn't talked about more. This is the primary cause of killers being unable to play the game until 3 or 4 gens are done. Against good survivors which there are a lot of now.
11 -
Most of the latest killers don't care much about pallets. Artist is probably the most anti-pallet killer they have released since Nurse. She literally doesn't have to kick shack pallet, and I have played entire games without kicking a single pallet as her.
3 -
what's wrong with bite the bullet, leader and other perks you've mentioned? barely anyone uses these outside of some specific builds
4 -
I think the same as you

Boons are certainly exacerbating the problems this game already has

I'm of the mind set that survivors who are in high mmr swfs shouldn't have a million pallets. Solos fine. Swfs on comms who wanna sweat, reduce the pallet and resource count and we'll see if they are still as cocky as usual.

Cool but what if I wanna play Myers because he's my main. Or Pig, Clown, or Legion. I hate when peoples answer is play a different killer with anti loop. I play all the killers. JUST PLAY NURSE OR BLIGHT. How about I wanna play dam killers I paid for and not worry about being destroyed by pallets all game.
3 -
Then run chase perks or play better. I use 3 chase perks on Myers sometimes. Endfury Coup de grace Myers doesn't care much about pallets.
0 -
Run 3 chase perks and watch the gens fly. Come on now. I'm talking about top survivors not potatoes. Once good survivors know you have fury/enduring they predrop everything. I sometimes use bamboozle on myers though because it's good on him.

You don't need "top survivors" to chain dozen palettes with one chase.
0 -
Well I kill people on first hook alot when I play myers. Not sure what you do. I don't always need slowdown to win. Coup is literally free 1 shot downs on him. Not sure what else you could ask for. Don't complain about playing a weak killer when there's tons of viable options. "I need 4 slowdowns on my M1 killer" sounds like a you problem.

Ace's Ante Up
Okay, but on the flipside, killers have such mind-bogglingly OP perks as Monstrous Shrine and Territorial Imperative! Survivors need their Up the Ante to even stand a chance!
Seriously though, if you're complaining about Up the Ante, you're complaining about survivors having perks, period.

You assume the devs know what theyre doing.
Next I hope we get mega boons. Combine the effects of multiple boons into one.
Id also love a boon that gives infinite dead hards while in the radius! I dont see enough DH anymore.
1 -
Nothing it's just part of the accumulative problem survivors run perks they can get the most value out of and most of them involve speedy heals and recoveries.
0 -
For the last time you cannot punish people for playing with their friends because they can and will find ways to use and abuse it to get around anything you put in place for them, punishing the casuals you don't struggle with and swear are solo players while the Ultradeath squads run free of any restrictions
7 -
Whatever perk that allows Ace to perform faster action on healing, that perk!
0 -
He doesn't have one. His perks are Up the Ante, which increases luck (IE: It does nothing), Open-handed, which increases aura reading range, and Ace in the Hole, which adds add-ons to items he finds in chests.

...are you thinking of Claudette Morel's "Botany Knowledge"?

I don't get the complaints.
Boons are a big time waste for survivors, you spend time finding totems, then spend time blessing the totem. Imo the only worthwhile boon is the healing one, but even then it's more efficient to just bring a medkit. I've seen some smart killers just leave a healing boon up because they know survivors will flock there when hurt, so you can easily track them there.
But disregarding whether you agree with this or not, why the complaints? Killers have tons of perk combinations (especially when combined with some killer powers) that make survivors feel completely helpless.
A recent killer build that's nearly unbeatable that i've seen lately is a combination of Pain Resonance, causing the gen with the most progression to blow up when you hook someone, then Dead Man's Switch, to also block this generator for 45 seconds. Add Hex: Ruin on top of that to regress the generator into hell while it's blocked by the entity. For a 4th perk you can choose whatever, Lethal Pursuers to make sure you find survivors instantly since you need that first hook to start blocking gens. Or if you don't need that there's other generator slowdown perks or whatever. Now... Do this on Doctor, bring an offering for a small map (like The Game), and survivors literally cannot win. Your AoE shock as doctor will hit basically the entire map, force people off the generators, trigger Dead Man's Switch, regress the generators for 45 seconds with Ruin boost, and you have all the time in the world to catch the survivors.
My point with this is that the side who wins the game is determined by whoever try-hards the most. This game simply isn't balanced -- For either side. So complaining about "survivors are OP" or "killers are OP" doesn't help, because both sides have OP setups if you combine the right things.
Whoever try-hards the most will "win" the match. But the real winners are those who just play for fun and bring perks that they enjoy using, rather than people who just care about winning. A lot of people forget that the main point of gaming is to have fun, not just whether you scored the highest.

Gens don't regress while blocked, and ruins won't stay more than 30 seconds into a match.
You are overestimating a value of slowdown perks.
Biggest complaint is the fact survivors DOES NOT need anything to be OP, they already have most broken thing in the game... aka palette and windows.

I tried a few times, even made topics about it. But I always got talked down and told that "pallets are already a limited resource and are fine" or even "the pallet count has gone down and down over the years and patches with just of small outlier. There were never fewer pallets in the game then now", yet I got the feeling that there is a pallet at every loop anx at every corner. You don't need Windows of Opportunity, just run at a random tileset and you will find a pallet there.
But well, run Enduring it really helps a lot.
1 -
Honestly that is kinda funny. Oh no!! 9% luck in total to kobe, what will I ever do?
0 -
I’m sorry, but you are complaining about Up the Ante and Bite the Bullet?
4 -
I mean, this just proves that people complain about just anything!
I saw some video of a stream where two not-so-good chaps complained to no end about a Myers who was so sweaty and out of his frigging mind, because he played Bamboozle and Brutal Strength. Of all perks! ;D
2 -
I was messing around with Brutal and Enduring on Myer for a bit. It definitely feels much better dealing with pallets but of course taking 2 perk slots just for dealing with pallets kills you with the gen speed. Maybe I'll try Corrupt, Brutal, Enduring, and Pain Resonance or No Way out.

You clearly just have a bad knowledge of the game based on what you wrote here.
1 -
I think this is the first time I've seen someone complain about perks such as bite the bullet, up the ante, and desperate measures none of which are considered meta, they aren't even that good and need a build that synergises with them.
Regarding boons, yes they can be annoying but on the flip side it means a survivor is wasting time blessing a totem instead of doing a gen and some players will drop a gen to go and rebless a totem wasting more time.
1 -
Nope it's a ace perk I ran during the Challenges and boy was I surprised how fast I was able to heal someone, but that's not the problem those perks already existed
The issue is with the addition to boon totems now adding to the overall faster resets
0 -
To some degree
0 -
Same but with gen regression/stalling perks
0 -
there is literally no ace perk that does this.
2 -
Well anyway my point is with the perks and boon totems it's becoming more than excessive challenge in high mmr to go against all of these speedy recovery perks thano, dying light, sloppy literally is negated by the combination of boons not only negated but they receive additional benefits
0 -
are you sure they don't regress? I've seen ruin activate on the gens while they're blocked by Dead Man's Switch, and saw a youtuber mention ruin regresses the gens while dead man's is active. Either way, even after Ruin is gone and doctor uses this setup, it's an extremely powerful build

This.
If you decide to play an M1 killer, you're effectively playing a Hold W + Break Pallet simulator for 5-10 minutes before you can actually begin downing and injuring people. Yet by that time, the generators are already done and dusted lmfao.
