What ping is considered "normal" let alone "playable"?

Personally, I think anything over 60/70 should be considered dodge-able since it really makes the game feel laggy and sometimes even unplayable.

I play around 20~30 and haven't seen anyone lower than that, but what do you guys experience normally?

I once had a teammate who had ~600 ping, topped out at 1K while I was looking at it. I was 100% sure they were hacking and I bm'ed them, then I saw their ping and felt bad.

I'm kind of used to 130-150 from the p2p days. But I did have one game recently where I had 2 players from Japan. Man had Like 328 ping. It kind of looked okay on my end, but got wierd when I'd hit him.

I haven't seen a full lobby with under 100 ms ping for months.

Even I've been around 60-70 ms ping and I have an Ethernet cable and 250 mbps internet

Considering theres only 2 EU servers it's a gamble what my ping is tbh

60-70 the game starts to mess with the auto aim and shoves killers into corners and window frames when lunging. So for me at 20 ping i would dodge anything over 50 unless q times deter me.

Lately i have been getting 4 man swf groups where one guy will be 40ish ping and the rest above 200.. These games feel terrible and i just don't bother playing.

To be fair if both players have 60ms ping then it's the equivalent of 120ms back on P2P days so maybe what you're used to isn't that far off from what it actually is

Usually my ping sits at around 35-60ms and it's fine, sometimes it'll make the hop to 65 if I'm in the German server with my bf instead of dragging him to the London one but it's never usually that high. Game works as normal on my end almost all the time and anything that looks wrong or weird is usually because of my opponents ping being somewhere in the 300s.

Hit validation, or any validation really, doesn't do enough to remove the advantage you get from having high ping. But since they're disabled that one, apparently, it's good and we can see how bs it all is again.

    Anything below 50/60

Considering how bad hit validation is, I still wish we could see the killers ping to the server too while in lobby

Because of server locations, minimum ping on a good day is 200~

If it's green, then I'm okay.

If it's orange, then I'll probably dodge

If it's red, I play because it'll be hilarious

This is just based on my own experience but 60 ping or lower is good. Up to 90ish ping is playable but after that it gets kinda meh. Ping consistency is also a really important factor. Id' rather have a consistent 80 ping rather than a fluctuating 20-60 ping.

Although this isn't really based on my experience in DBD, it's more so when I used to play CS:GO competitive matches with my poor internet connection.

My ping is always between 90 and 120. Because we have not East EU servers. West EU servers are not close.

I really hate playihg against people who have good ping because they are close to servers. This gives them little advantages but what i can do? Nothing.

My ping usually sits around 35 and that's perfectly adequate, I'll go up to somewhere around 110 before I'll leave the lobby and go do something else for a bit.

Obviously the lower the better, but anecdotally I've never noticed a huge difference between 35 and like, 90, if it sticks there consistently. It's when it jumps up and down that the problems stat.
