Why is everyone all the sudden playing Blight?
Maybe it's just me, but I've seen 6 Blights out of the last 10 games played. Did he get buffed or is it just a huge coincidence? I've never seen him this much before.

Also nurse is banned now so more Blights, Spirits and Artists lately.

Killer nerfs and nurse being blocked. Survivors insist on moaning about mediocre killers and get them nerfed without realising they are making it miserable for themselves.

Because they disabled Nurse so everyone moved to Nurse Jr they Nerfed the other Killers who could compete against good teams. Are you shocked Blight is played this much? lmao.

It is not suddenly anymore. It is like this for months now.
Well he is probably the 2nd strongest killer in the whole game, he is also generaly speaking fun to play as, he has strong add-ons and can deal with SWF groups.
Also Nurse is now disabled, so he is number one for now.

Same here, out of the last 7 games 4 were blight, 2 huntress, 1 artist. Same stats over the weekend and last week for the most part. Just getting a bit duller to play survivor IMO.

I know Blight is a challenge to go against but he's no God Tier Nurse....faced a few Slider Blights and really good Blights last night and I still was able to loop him and mind game him like any other Killer.....

........Even though me and a Blight player had a good laugh in end game chat when I left a Locker after I got in it to avoid BBQ only to have him Pinball to the Gen that was nearby to check it.....I left the locker as he steamrolled me down.....all I could do was laugh because you could tell I scared the crap out of him, he stopped for a second and looked like did that really happen.

Honestly I will admit I can't survive a chase with a wraith to save my life but I won't complain as i rarely encounter them and mostly get ghostfaces,spirits,Blights and the rare bubba
Mostly spirits so I gotta ask this question how close am I to Blight hell because I want to see it for a bit than sandbag my mmr lol

More people are playing blight because of swish's tourney where knightlight 4kd a good tournament squad with 4 gens still up and nothing super op, he was good about not committing to the wrong chases and it showed

Blight is probably the most fun killer to play. And he is very strong. Have you try to play him? Like at all?

A few recent "Blight op pls nerf" threads came up so I assume people though "Oh no, the Survivors started whining again, the devs will nerf Blight now" like they did with Wraith and now they're trying to have fun while it lasts

Your right there are so many additional reasons to play blight pver the rest of the rooster. High mobility, flexible movent low skill floor with a high skill celling.
So if you face highly competent players he slots in nicely. If you get a big map his power allows you to navigate the map with significantly more ease then the rest of the rooster. He also is the only killer that scales with high mmr. Shocking twist people like playing killers with a high skill celling and has an intutive power.
There was more variety when sbm didnt exist and decpining plauer rates can be traced to sbms implementation (oops). Other h8gh skill celling killers have been getting gutted or just more frustrating to play. Hillbilly has and will likely still not recover from what the devs did. Slinger is also facing a similar situation. The twins got nerfed again despite having a small play rate.
On the plus side bubba is a much better killer, plague got se buffs though her clunky aimming continues to drive players away from playing her. The devs dont want to make high skill cap killers so blight is the only choice if you dont like ranged killers. I could go on about hit and run boons but these are imo the most egregious mistakes made.

Blight is easy to pick up and gets results even without touching his ludicrously high skill ceiling. He's just that well designed. But let's not kid ourselves, most people use busted builds on him (and still somehow lose to my solo games lmfao).
I genuinely adore Blight if the player is very skilled and not using every sweaty thing ever. They tend to steamroll and it's fun for once. I hate the opposite, sweaty Blights that still struggle despite the misery they love inflicting on clearly solo teams.

I don't think they look much at YouTube or they would find themselves (or at least their username) on the thumbnail of one of otz's last videos.

Because the current meta of COH making 2/3 of the killer roster obsolete has pushed killer mains to either give up, suffer, or adapt and find fun killers who ignore the power of COH.
The answer is Blight. He's fun, practically ignores COH with how fast he is at downing people, and is super strong.

Blight is very fun once you learn him though I am on PC while using a controller and having a blast.
Also I am a sucker for The Strange case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde

simple, the other killers suck. The survivors labeled as other killers as unfun. Hopefully Blight every game is fun for the survivor.

People are gonna attribute it to him being "OP" or because he got that Adrenaline Vial buff and now that add-on is "OP". But it's because he's the best we've got besides Nurse. Playing with him feels somewhat normal instead of being the survivors' plaything.

Blight is the second best killer in the game right now and unlike Nurse, his learning curve is not that big.
