Give the above person advice, ask the next for advice:
Just a thought that came to mind while musing through the forums.
You post something you seek advice on, such as "How do I play against [killer]?"/"How do I play [killer] on [map]?"/etc. Just anything DBD gameplay-related. Then, the next person answers with advice for that person, and asks the next future person for advice on something of their own. So on and so forth.
Thought it'd be a nice way to help break down some of the Us VS Them in the forums by having people help each other with genuine helpful advice for stuff people struggle with.

Without perks, what are some good strategies for facing stealth killers?
0 -
Simply awareness and if possible good positioning. Plant yourself on a gen in a way where you can still kinda see what is going on around you. Healing is also especially hurtful towards them since stealthy killers rely on surprise hits on already injured survivors.
What perks are good for the artist?

BBQ is especially good, maybe ruin as well, tinkerer maybe? They all work great with her map pressure.
How does one decide between unlocking Mikaela for CoH or Kate for WoO, when they have 9k shards?
2 -
Do you often find yourself on the ground thinking that if only you had seen the window, you'd have made it? WoO is a fine perk, but I think CoH will benefit you more long term, as your map knowledge improves, while WoO will be less useful the more you know.
Other than tunneling out the person who brought it, What is a good way to counter CoH?

Playing Plag. The CoH survivor will stare cryingly at the wasted perk slot, thinking how nice resilience would've been.
I play too sporadically to learn precisely every pallet on the map. Even after 5 years of playing I still find myself craving for WoO. Not to mention it also helps in regards to knowing wether a pallet is up or down.
My question still stands, as I need further arguments: Kate or Mikaela?

It depends- are you buying with Shards or with real money? If you're going to use Shards, go for Mikaela, because it's a lot better value to buy the full Curtain Call DLC instead of the Hour of the Witch DLC, especially as it's likely to go on sale when the new chapter, Sadako Rising, releases on March 8th. If you're going to buy the full DLC, get the Curtain Call chapter and thus Kate (when it goes on sale) in order to get the best value for your money.
Kate's perks are fairly okay- Windows is very good, especially in solo; Boil Over has it's uses even without a dedicated Sabo Squad; Dance with Me is a niche stealth perk that can be very good when combined with Lithe and Iron Will.
Mikaela's perks are... interesting- Clairvoyance is a good concept but very lackluster in execution; Shadow Step is a very good stealth perk provided you stay in it's range; Circle of Healing literally changed the entire survivor meta overnight and is still busted OP.
If you're asking purely on a perks bases, then Mikaela. If you're asking on a "what should I buy especially considering a budget" then see above.
My question: My BF really dislikes this game rn, so are there any co-op games people would suggest I can give a spin to trial them?

But what if I already bought Clown with shards...?
As for your question... I really don't know what to answer, as I only play Smite and Paladins besides DBD (and other single player games). But I'd recommend you give Smite a shot if you haven't already. It's really fun.

My advise for you : If you already bought Clown with Shards, then I'd recommend you to keep those shards for BP or use it for another Killer you'd enjoy.
Asking whoever is next: If I get diarrhea every time I drink coffee, what advise would you give me so it stops?
0 -
I'd recommend getting an allergy test, to see what causes your diarrhea. Avoid that substance.
If my best friend abandons me because she wants to have no friends, shall I try to convince her otherwise and maybe rekindle our relationship, or should I just accept that the person I used to spend all the time in school with is just gone?

SIKE! No worries, I don't get diarrhea because of coffee, it happens sometimes because I drink to much milk. The problem is, I love milk.
Tbh, I had a similar thing happen to me, just that they didn't say that they don't want any friends, they just randomly bailed me one day and never came back. I accepted it, though I still think about it to this day sometimes. It was in 2016 so almost 6 years ago because it was April. I sometimes feel guilty for what happened, thinking I caused the split. So I'd say it's best to let go as well and don't feel regret, it was her decision in the end.

Did she say she wanted no friends? Because while school friends rarely stay through your adulthood, actively trying to have 0 friends seems like a sign of mental issues to me. Either way, as you aren't her parent, there's not much you can do except respect her wishes and make sure she knows the lines of communication are open when/if she wants to reconnect
I have to travel constantly for work, but suffer insomnia in hotel rooms. Sleeping pills mess me up in the am. Any suggestions?

Kidnapping is the answer. It shows them that you're invested in your friendship and concerned for their emotional well-being due to their current life choices.
Edit: what are some good perks to synergize with PWYF on Trapper?
1 -
Well she certainly has mental issues, as her parents aren't.. the best parents out there. They're people in their fifties who just want to bang and having a child kinda impedes that. They are really tormenting her and that led her to slowly dumping each friend she had.
I'm pretty sure insomnia in foreign places is normal, as your brain doesn't trust that place. I'm not really sure as to what you should do, but I'm pretty sure there is advice on this online.
