DbD has Great Potential
Idea of behind this game is great. 4 survivors versus 1 killer. It feels like old horror movies.
Game has so much killers and there is so much different type powers.
DbD has so much great licenses.
We are keep taking new contents. BHVR is supporting their game.
So it should be great game right?
Sadly it is not. I spent more than 2000 hours on this game. But after 2021 changes game started really bother me (SBMM, boons, more anti-loop killers etc.).
I am playing less after this changes.
I gave little break to Elden Ring today and i played couple games on DbD. I planned play all day today but i bored after third match. It is so sad to bored so fast on my favorite horror game.

We that’s unfortunate. The game shines when you play with friends. I’m praying that the anniversary chapter is a success. Also when are they gonna reduce the grind. They said they were in October and still nada

Yeah grind is on other hand. I stopped excited for new chapters. Because levelling them will take hours. I am sure devs are cares game and they are trying their best but they are so slow.

the game had potential but the decision and the lack of care that goes into the game is what bringing dbd down.
the game has issue that should be prioritise but the dev either don't focus on the issue or just ignore it till it get to a level.
it been months since I've played it and I been playing it for awhile till VHS comes back online (it was attacked nearly 2 weeks ago)

Yeah same, remember the mid-chapter they buffed Trapper and Plague, nerfed Slinger and Spirit. And plus so many killer add-ons, perk changes for both sides. It was great mid-chapter. If we are waiting 3 months for them, they should be good like this. Or every month smaller updates.
But it's failing to make real its potential, that's the sad part.
Old DbD has issues for sure but i am sure most people loved more. 2018 is still best year of DbD for me. 2019 is close.
I am not playing so much either. I spent 2k hours on game but last months probably i played max 100-150 hours. This is nothing.
It can with good leadership.
