I'm sorry but stop blaming behavior and whining about the game.
This is a place for inputting your thoughts and disagreeing with something is deffinatly fine to make a post about, but whining is different from disagreeing. There can be posts in a more formal manner than a childish whining manner. Seeing people whine about behvr is strange to me because this game is a one of a kind game that has been updating and providing for its fan base since 2016. The devs and bhvr are why this game is a thing and alot of my and probably many others memories of video games are about this game. Behvr can not control what players do so instead of complaining about tunneling and camping to bhvr complain about it towards the killers that tunnel and camp.
This probably sounds silly but it's like Democrats and Republicans. Killer side is D and survivor side is R while bhvr is in the middle trying to make both sides happy.
Just think about it, we complain about freddy, he gets a rework, we complain he's to strong, he gets a nerf. Now people are saying he's unfun to play against and really weak. That's not bhvr fault its ours.

If people are unsatisfied with a game they should mention something. The developers are paid to develop the game; the players pay money to play. Relying on players choosing long term gain over short term rewards doesn't work; if you want a gaming history example google what happened to Shadowbane. I

I look at it like everyone is venting and they’re hoping others in the community feel the same way. I’m guilty of it. Sometimes people agree, and other times you get flamed for paranoia and/or hot takes (lmao). It can be therapeutic.

They could rework DH and end up making it stronger. They reworked the game, fractured cowshed, badham, etc and those maps are all stronger for survivor now. Those are all examples of how the devs "reworked" stuff and it made it more imbalanced. Haddonfield will end up the same way guaranteed

Freddy is absolutely BHVR’s fault. They nerfed him within a week of his release, admitted they were wrong, refused to revert the changes and then announce he was being reworked within a few months of his release when all they had to do was buff him.
Then after over a year they rework him into a basic and boring killer for both sides, make him slightly OP and then over nerf him while still leaving him boring. And don’t forget they nerfed his Dream Pallets because “they are OP but we don’t know why”.
Sure the fan base complained about Freddy a lot, but BHVR went overboard on him multiple times when they only had to buff his original design OR nerf his Forever Freddy build and leave his base kit untouched. It’s a shame as old Freddy was the most unique killer in the game and now he’s the most boring killer to play.

behavior are the designers and if there's something we don't like, we have every right to complain about it.

It's 100% BHVR's fault if they decide to not think anything about it and mindlessly follow what people say.

Who the hell are you? you must be a new player, because you dont have any idea of dbd history and why players get so frustated with the devs. They made a lot of wrong decisions, ignoring completely the people who actually plays the game and know a lot more than them.

If there's something unfun, unbalanced about the game, we as consumers who paid for the game have every right to complain.
However changes come very slowly, and when they do it's often overnerfing something ( billy, freddy, deathslinger ), while barely buffing others ( wakeup, vigil, buckle up lol), which results in people running same builds over and over again on both sides.
Every blight is running alchemist ring, every nurse recharge addons because why not, same for survivors, stacking 2nd chance perks with strong medkits is only way to counter it, esp if you're soloQ. Things haven't changed much or will, because devs are too afraid to change much so to not upset majority of players who complain about everything in game. Kind of like how I'm doing now I suppose, and the cycle continues...

I'm a paying customer. If the product is not to my liking I am well within reason to complain.

I do not know why you've chosen this example in particular, but you are absolutely correct.
Unfortunately, Freddy is one of many things BHVR completely messed up.
And it is their goddamn fault for doing so.

If behavior makes a change and it goes poorly, it's their fault. Doesn't matter if others asked for it.

BHVR BAD

Who else?

I chose that example because the OP mentioned Freddy at the end being our fault.

I understand it is a forum and complaining is what you do in a forum. But there does come to a point where complaining turns in to whining. For example people complain about ds which is fine, but there gets to a point where people start making immature posts about how bad ds is even though bhvr has done everything people have asked for in the context of nerfing ds. Some people make good valid intellectual posts on perks or killers that they disagree with, but then there's people that make a post just because they got destroyed by a swf group or the got destroyed by a really good blight main.
All I'm saying is that people are expecting for this essentially new type of game (4 v1) to be perfect and for the devs to be perfect but that's just not possible. They deffinatly are doing something right because this game has been rising in fan base year after year.

This is proving my point on immature/not needed post. Most people on this discussion are actully making good valid arguments against my comments which I support, but you come over here and make it all aggressive. It just isn't needed.

no its literally their fault for not knowing good advice from bad advice
survivors should suffer and rarely be able to escape all with all four people it just isnt realistic in terms of horror
survivors should be rewarded for their contribution towards others escapes not just their own
example being if you heal or save a certain survivor from a hook then you get a multiplier towards those actions you did on them if they end up escaping...
and with a change that rewards survivors for working together would see them having to stay the remainder of the match until all other survivors escape or die to see how they did...
Id like to say that if the game was changed in a good way then killers would realise they dont gain much from camping and tunneling as they are already rewarded based on the struggling of survivors in addition to their sacrifice
right now i think survivors have the upper hand in dbd and i dont think it should be that way but if its 4 to 1 argument its a 4 to 1 argument
