just because I call out someone for playing dirty in a match doesn't mean I'm upset about losing.
I may call someone out for face camping or tunneling, but I do it in a creative way. It doesn't mean I'm upset or crying over a loss.

I don't get the endless need to call certain tactics cheap or dirty.
Give killers a reason to not camp/tunnel and it wouldn't happen.
With CoH giving endless free heals, and gen regression non existent there is more chance of winning a game by tunneling survs early than going for wounded survs or kicking gens.

Survivors play dirty all the time, they use coms to bypass entire killers and perks/ addons. While also making the game boring and stale.

“Tunneling” isn’t “dirty”, it’s not even well defined in the first place other than “the killer downed someone twice in a row.” The vast majority of survivors who complain in my aftergame chat about “tunneling” are sore losing morons who assume that because I downed them two or three times in a row I was somehow obsessed with them or not playing “fairly”.

its the usual answer you always get when you say ANYTHING in aftergame chat which can be defined as "complaining". It's always oooh you're so salty, you're crying over a loss, stop crying blahblah... just by pointing out some thing about the match, about the playstyle or whatever

99% of non salty people won't point out anything about the match.

i like to talk about the match sometimes, doesn't mean i'm actually offended for a while because i either died or got no kills. And even if i'm salty a little bit, in many situations it is understandable and there is nothing wrong with calling it out. This "stop crying"-answer is just as braindead as the bots who spam "ez" as reply to anything.

Calling other side out is generally wrong thing to do because it doesn't make anyone else pleasant, "stop crying" answer is just a jerk for jerk reaction, as expected.

Having heard "Is that a tent, or are you just happy to see me?" from a survivor was so genuinely funny that I repeat it whenever I get hard face-camped.
Talking about gameplay choices doesn't have to come from from a place of anger.

I got communication banned over the weekend because I messaged another survivor about the key binding screwing me over disarming a trap. I followed up with this game is ass sometimes and got banned....maybe I messaged a dev? Or maybe their filter blocked it as a negative response and without opening it to read they reported it? Who knows but I found it hilarious.

How is it an excuse?
There is little value from a killer's pov of kicking gens when survs are near by to stop the regression, with insta tap.
There is little value from chasing a wounded surv when coh is around and has unlimited uses.
If you want pressure as a killer you need to have survs trying to peel for someone who has just been unhooked.
Chasing gens does not give pressure or value. Chasing a wounded surv with CoH up and one on hook does not give pressure.

I've actually had some fun interactions. I had a leatherface basement camp me with the basement build I told them it was a basement but it wasn't theirs and they were allowed to leave. they said to me "I did leave it, I came and got you and put you in it."
I laughed and thanked them for playing along and they sent back a GG. Sure I'm frustrated that I've been camped or tunneled. I'm just trying to vent it in a fun way.

frustration and being upset are two very different things. I'm not yelling and screaming over it or cursing the person out or the game. or rage quitting. I just offer maps to help people out of tunnels and I offer fine canvas tents to make the camping more comfortable. Everyone dislikes being camped and tunneled pretending you don't is lying to yourself.

The only time I call out killers is when they have 1000s of hrs in the game and I’m dealing with 4 slowdowns like Pain resonance/ Dead mans switch, corrupt and ruin.. Boring asf

yeah I find when killers use every slowdown perk they can to be boring to go against too. When I play killer I find playing against teams that have at least 3 people all running spine chill borrowed time and dead hard boring to go against too.

As far as I can ascertain his point is that when he behaves in a traditionally salty manner (i.e. claiming people "played dirty" when they followed the game rules) people think he is salty. As far as why he believes that is a failure on their part, and not a reason to reassess his own behavior however, I cannot say.

I believe that's the point he's making. You're misunderstanding because you're getting distracted by a perceived slight.
Sometimes, an opponent plays in a strange or unorthodox way--nothing wrong with calling out that it's different. There's not even necessarily an implied insult attached.
(And yes, "survivor main," "idiot," whatever--I get that people will accuse me of being stupid and salty. You know I play killer too, I commented on your post with advice about more obscure killer mechanics)

Ye I get that in that sense, however cheating and a gameplay strategy are completly different things, if he would do that by lets say if the Killer uses a Mori, then I wouldnt say anything about that cuz I do the exact same thing, or with noed. However Tunneling, Camping and Slugging are heavily needed strategys which still has plenty of counterplay and also dont even pay off sometimes if you do that so I dont really get the point of calling someone out for that. Even if that is meant in a funny way, there is absolutely nothing funny or weird about it, its like that someone would laugh at me cuz I have Autism. Its just there and it exists, sure its abit of an exagerating example since I dont have the choice for it, however the strategys are basicly in the base game needed and exist since the beginning of dbd for a reason, we all know how balanced dbd is.

Tell me a logical reasoning behind face-camping someone at five gens. Scenario: You've found this person as the game started, because they were within your line of sight as the camera panned around.
Or defend tunneling someone out at five gens. Scenario: You've chased this poor ####### around the map, and it's clear that no gens have been worked on, and yet this dude must die? Why not go for the unhooker either time--clearly nobody is doing anything, so it's a perfect time to commit to two hits!
You can't--it's dumb. The correct answer is "go spread pressure" because worst-case scenario they get pulled off hook and you get to cut their death timer a bit shorter when you catch them again.
Do you have a problem with a survivor poking fun at that sort of behavior post-match? I know that I don't.
Calling out general camping and tunneling is pretty silly though, yeah.

I had in the past games like that and went "easy" on survivors if something like this happens, ofc this doesnt happen often but it can happen, that the survivors reset themselves and they all suddenly play absolutely perfect without giving you any chance to gain more hooks or pressure somehow, you lose the game then and then they teabag you at the gate with some ez gg baby tunneler ######### go ######### your mother in the chat.
What I am trying to say is, I will never underestimate players again even if I feel bad, only if someone might die quickly doesnt mean automaticly the person is a bad player or that your game is a save win. Ofc considering if I play for Kills, sometimes I just want to farm BPs so in that case I go abit easier on survivor cuz I want my 4 BBQ stacks.

You are very salty and you shouldn't be, what you should do is report to BHVR and forget about it, getting mad at cheaters only benefits them.
