Cheater made me disconnect after first hook? First time this has happened in my time playing.

Played this game for about 180 hours on my Steam account, and maybe 30 or 60 hours on the Epic Launcher before switching to Steam, and I don't think this ever happened prior to this last match. And by that I mean being disconnected at any point of a match in the same fashion.

Was wanting to try an OP build with Spirit to get my daily for her. My perks were BBQ, Bamboozle, Corrupt Intervention and Pop. I needed to Mori them for the daily. Decided to take Mother-Daughter Ring, Katana Tsuba and an Ebony Momento Mori. So basically I believe that means I spent 19,000 Bloodpoints, only for someone using a cheat program to force me to DC after the first hook (if I'm right).

I'd imagine such cheaters can see things like what addons you have, and just wanted to give me the middle finger for hooking someone in the first 30 seconds or so, and with the help of BBQ aura vision, heading for my next victim on a gen instantly.

So yeah I got the 5 minute punishment for DC'ing, lost my BP from those addons and the offering. Costs a lot more than 19k to get those as well, since you are relying on luck/rng and have to clear the rest of the bloodwebs, hoping to find them. I only had 2 of those rings for Spirit, now it's 1.

Can I report that last match to the developers? My hope is it helps them figure out a way of preventing however they caused me to disconnect. Please share a link or something to where I should report this, and any information you think I need to know regarding the best way to go about giving them the relevant information if you can.

My guess would be I might have to use my VPN to hide my IP, but it has caused me lag in the past gaming through my VPN, so I stopped doing it.

I was able to instantly reconnect to the game after being booted to the title screen, so there was nothing wrong with my internet at the time, as far as I could tell.
