BBQ Basekit?
Please don't destroy me in the comments. With killer the way it is at the moment, would BBQ as basekit be the worst thing in the world? Keeps the killer incentive with BP & allows for 4 other game helping perks.

There are quite a few mechanics that should really be basekit at this point. Unfortunately I doubt the devs have any plans to make them a reality. Even the BT plans will probably go down the toilet.

I like it. I only run BBQ for the points anyways, so even if they just kept that and did away with the aura reading I'd be happy.

Sorry, to get double BP you have to ditch one of your precious Slowdown-Perks. You cant have both.

I think something like this would be a good idea to encourage killers not to stay around the hook. I understand that was the purpose of BBQ, but the killer has to have the perk and run it for it to be affective. If the devs are really considering Kindred and BT to be basekit for survivors, I hope they are also thinking about killer.

I play both sides, but I think, Killers can invest a Perk Slot for getting so many BPs, which also allow them to use better Add Ons.

Killers run BBQ because the grind sucks, you know it, we all know it. Forcing people to use 3 perks just to alleviate the insane grind is just a ridiculous idea, we can instead just nerf problematic add-ons if they ever become to oppressive.

And so the side, which already gets 30-50% more BPs at base AND has easier access to double BPs should get this as Base so that they can run 4 Perks instead? Yeah...
If you want to get more BPs, run BBQ. If you think you need other Perks more, run those and dont get double BPs.

Then buff survivor BP? If you're saying that the game is killer biased then prepare to get laughed out the door, I play far more solo queue than killer and I still haven't changed mind on which side is stronger: It's just a matter of which side plays dirtier, you should know this, you've been playing this game for 3 years at the very least.

I did not say that the game is killer-sided, I said that Killers get more BPs than Survivors.

No, the problem of the grind affects everyone and it should be addressed in a way that doesn't inherently favor one "side" (especially when they already gain a lot more bps)
Now though, will they address the grind? Soon™ (same answer since two years)

It really isn't fair. BBQ is amazing on certain killers eg. Huntress, Artist, Nurse, even some others (basically ranged or high mobility) and then not so great on other killers like Hag, Trapper etc. who are territorial and can't get around the map as well.
Aside from being a flat buff to all killers, it would make good killers even better and not do much for lower power killers really. The BP would be nice though but BHVR will never just give a strong bp effect like that inherent on either side. I pretty much go in knowing i have to sacrifice a slot on either side if I want to farm as much BP as possible in a match through BBQ or wglf.

As I said, if someone wants to have Double BP, they should invest a Perk-Slot. Survivors have to do the same.
And it just shows how killer-sided this Forum is if the idea is "Hey, lets give the side which already gets more BPs even more BPs!". Not even considering that the grind on the Survivor-Side is even worse than on the Killers side since:
- Survivors get less BPs overall
- Survivors have it harder to get specific things out of the Bloodwebs since they have 3 times as many Items
- Survivors have it harder to gain double BPs (if they dont want to throw the game)
- and last but not least: Survivors have more Perks
The grind has to be reduced for everyone. Not just for the side who has it easier already.

Rather have a 15 to 20 second base kit corrupt.
Least that way if a survivor spawns next to a gen it has a chance not to pop in first 2 min of a match

If you think bbq is so popular because of the aura effect you are seriously misinformed. If they removed the bq gain you wouldn't ever see it ran.

My idea (al ready said in various comment) is that is could be good to make more killer left the hook (even if the facecamp nerfs devs said is better choise), but killer could continue to camp and have more information, also very strong on bullet killers. For bloodpoint issue devs must rework all the system, grind became worse. Also kindread could be basket for compensation, even if I prefer a maybe nerfed Bt and nerfed corrupt (green versions maybe).

I would make the bubble pin point survivor's location like Doctor madness or Rancor if survivors are 40m away from hook. Aura tracking for 4sec can be op on Top tier killers.

Great I wouldn't mind this suggestion as it would at least close the gap between the two
My theory is why the gap is so big is to get people to play killer to try and make sure both sides get matches in a reasonable time instead of just the latter getting matches in a reasonable time

true. but going "No, because the other side has less", is a bit less productive than "yes, but also X for the other side to help them out aswell".
but let's be honest, best way to reduce the grind is just removing perk tiers... too many perks...

No because aura reading. If you want it basekit for BP gains they should just increase BP gains for everyone - not just one side.
