Dbd comp and dc penalty
Okay hear me out, what if dbd had competitive where when you join like anyone can run any perks they want against random players and then make it so the dc penalty only affects those in competitive, personally speaking I don’t think people who dc due to how teammates are playing or how scummy a player is should be punished for it or when the server has a delay like other games that have competitive modes or “ranked” if you will have a dc penalty then but why does dbd have a dc penalty for just basic gameplay?

Because people will leave for anything that mildly inconveniences them.
Get hit through a window? DC and ruin 4 other people's match.
Totem destroyed? Just DC for better RNG

The community has proven time and again that the game isn't playable without a dc penalty.
I'd personally like a ranked competitive mode, but I doubt it would happen. It would be a nice alternative to KYF scrims. People talk about KYF as if it's A: time efficient and B: not completely broken and held together with sticks and glue. Getting a KYF lobby to actually work is like winning the lottery

Aint that the truth. I am Pro-DC penalty.
If you’re having such a tough time in a trial, maybe use that time to cool off. A habitual DCer probably needs it.

When I dc it’s usually cause something comes up and I have to stop playing, but mine just keeps stacking I would like to keep playing the game but the times just stacking over the days are ridiculous

Then quit playing when you don’t have the time set aside for a full game.

This, KYF should be where you can 4 man swf, seeing it's all about friends and playing and definitely not competitive.
Ranked should be solo/duo only.

People already dc over almost anything if you remove the DC penalty it will get to the point where people load in a go oh said level dc, I don't like this killer dc,oh I don't like where that bush is dc.

I mean I play on a 4 man but with no comms, is that fine or nah? I can do without comms just don’t want randoms teammates dcing, getting u to second state, farming you off the hook, self caring, sandbagging, or working with killer to get you killed.

The DC penalty should be tweaked to, if there's a disconnect from the game delaying then,it should not give you one.Its still scummy to disconnect against a killer having a good game and because your TMs are not so skilled, you could always try to find hatch.
There needs to be a system in place to tell the difference from a physical dc or an error by the game but that has to extend to internet issues all around
