Not really. It’s a decent chapter by all means but I have no connection to the license and am already burned out so I have no desire to come back

Every new killer/survivor update, all of my friends get into a party and watch multiple streamers for hours. After about an hour I bailed, I was just bored out of my mind, Mori was boring, mechanic was boring, her animation looked dated or cheap. I should say, this is all my opinion, and if anyone is excited for her then heck yeah!

I like The Ring, I like Sadako’s aesthetic, I like stealth killers and I like teleporting with Freddy and she’s gets to teleport even more often. I also like Wraith but am not as big a fan of how slow he moves whennhe decloaks, but Sadako still moves at about survivor speed while decloaking which looks much more fun in my opinion. Plus I think the intermittent invisibility thing is neat.
So yeah, definitely looking forward to getting her. 🙂

Not really she seems like she will be boring to play, Im not planning on buying her any time soon. Her perks are pretty forgetable except the budget ruin one, like I think theres another one with skillchecks at 90% of a gen but I cannot for the life of me remember the last one. Same for survivor there is like 1 intresting one in the temp lucky break on stuns and I kinda want it for a headon build and also reverse empathy which will be nice for autodiadact but once again 0 idea what the 3rd perk is. No new map no major balance stuff so I feel its just gonna be the same as today with a different lobby.

No, because the fundamentals of the game aren't changing at all.
Oh great, we have a new killer and 6 new perks. Within a week, everyone will stop playing with the new toys, particularly when the killer is just an M1 killer who is destined to be bullied by survivors.
None of the actual problems with the game are addressed, just another killer being added doesn't change the fact that this game is miserable for killers mainly due to dh, coh, survivor-sided maps, etc
I'll probably show some interest for a little bit, but no reason to come back full time.

I agree, so I'm a bit sad that she has a lullaby when undetectable. I'm really hoping that it won't take too much away from her surprise/scare potential.

if it's any consolation, most people who played on the PTB didn't even realise there was a lullaby - from one of the threads we had here on the forum. It's also such an eerie sound that it adds to the effects and doesn't detract from her at all imo.

Yes. I'm new to the game, so this will be the first chapter I'm here for the release of. I also enjoyed The Ring and Ringu movies (never read the books).

No, not really. The hype for it kind of died when they announced the chapter early. And I don't really care for The Ring franchise that much. Don't get me wrong, the content coming with the chapter is decent, but it's just something I'm not really engaged with.

I've never seen the original Ringu however I have seen the American Ring and Ring 2 which I loved. I know they aren't exactly the same, but I still have a love for the franchise as a whole because of those 2 movies. So yes, I am excited for Sadako to come into the game tomorrow and I can't wait to play her.

Nope i'd rather they spent more energy on fixing busted stuff or overhauling old stuff.
All the last few killers have been garbage, Trickster,Artist. The game needs fundamental changes to make so that all characters can be enjoyable.

I am excited! Seeing her come out of the well for the first time in the PTB Killer selection, and watching her gameplay (as well the new Survivor, and survivors going up against her) made me very hype for tomorrow to arrive!
Also there is the first time I saw her mori, I had a stream of the PTB open while I was working at the PC. I wasn't really paying attention to anything being said on the stream, but that moment I looked over, in a split second, it went from what my brain registered as DbD HUD/gameplay, to Sadako's furious glare...and I practically fell out of my chair, it got me pretty good lol

The only good thing of tomorrow patch is scretched res gone, they have a lot of improvements to do, especially matchmaking side before they will ever see me again playing their game
