DH being use by 3-4 survivors every match
I wish the devs would show the usage rate of this perk like they did with old Ruin when they nerfed that.
Old ruin was like 80% of all red ranks games and 45% of all games. I bet dead hard has that beat. Pretty much every single killer game I play minimum 2 people have this perk equipped and usually 3 with the 4 sometimes.
isn't this a problem from a gameplay standpoint when there are so many other perks in the game?? When I play survivor I don't run into killers running noed, Corrupt, or other killer meta stuff EVERY SINGLE GAME like I do with DH.

It's an anti tunnel perk don't tunnel. If survivors have it but never get to use it (because you didn't tunnel) then it's useless and therefore an empty perk slot

I am so stupid. My bad

I'm talking about Dead Hard not Decisive Strike.

I realized that sorry. And yes you make a valid point. I do wonder what the game would be like without dead hard. I'm a survivor main and I honestly wouldn't care

I feel like dead hard NEEDS to be nerfed. Here's why:
It encourages bad looping habits.
It carries survivors and gives them free escapes sometimes.
It makes actual good survivors looping time for up by a triple amount because of how strong the perk is. Because of such, it's a pretty much no brainer to run.

I see corrupt about every other game. that said, DH is way more annoying.

What do they have in common? Both are strong. Players use strong perks! Elementary, my dear.

When a perk is so strong and common that you are forced to play around it even when it doesn't exist, that's when I think it's problematic. And I think you could make that argument for some other DBD perks, but most only come into play in specific situations.
DH is literally every time you go to down someone you gotta account for it. Every other exhaustion perk has some sort of stipulation or drawback to use, but not DH. You just get your third health state to use on-demand.
