whats the point of stating you leaving?
I don't get why everyone seems to be on this forum under every post stating "this is cool but I don't play Im quitting/I quit." Like okay cool for you? Why do you have to bring everyone else down who's excited or likes the game? I went through a negative nancy phase about DBD but I wasn't on the forums pouting stating how I hadn't played the game for 3 months. Do you guys think BHVR is reading these threads like "oh man forum user 4,000,000 just stated he left DBD but still actively comments on the forums everyday we better change the game and fast!"

People like to say goodbyes to the popular people such as @TheGannMan @GoodBoyKaru @Pulsar and @GeneralV

It's a futile effort to try and speak to the devs or the community managers. :>

Maybe they had a really bad game and needed somewhere to vent? I really don't know why they would otherwise.

If you mean the I'm quitting DbD posts alot of people have forum friends they'd like to say goodbye to. Add to it those people usually really loved this game, so there's probably a part of them that hopes it might get the devs to see the issues that they see.In the end there are alot of reasons why.

So that we know that they are leaving.

I think if your own excitement s being affected by negative posts then maybe the forum is not for you. I like to think there is room for all perspective on the game, whether they love it or have grown to hate it and everything in between.

Sometimes I wonder where someone went, when I don't see posts of them anymore. So a goodbye post is something that helps with that.
