Glad it was. I had an Elodie, who was injured and on death hook, immediately break away from the loop I was chasing her at once the final gen popped. She ran straight to a door that had 0 progress on it. I thought, why would you touch that knowing you would die? Then came the "REEE" sound followed by a crash and a timeout. That is when I realized why.

I'm running No Mither + Resilience now to open exit gates faster, and Clairvoyance to see the gate switches. It was a close call guys, but I guess I'll be staying after all.

No it literally force crashes the killer's entire game and forces them to reboot. All it did till it went poof ✨

Correct, that's exactly what would happen. Survivors would get 5k escaped points and the killer would be forced to reboot their game and return with a penalty and 0 points from the entire thing.

That is insane, wake up is honestly for some reason a really buggy perk and is probably the perk that has brought the most bugs out.

This is insane! I usually run Wake UP/Spine Chill for faster gates because a lot of teammates DC or suicide on first hook. This was always great for exit attempts when things go south...
I was running this today and thought people were just DCing because they didnt get adept, etc. Someone said it to me in End game chat and I honestly didnt believe it until I checked the forums
How can a perk, that wasnt even touched this update, cause the killer to DC?
