Why Not Early Game Collapse

I think most of us if not all of us remember when the devs said this would be coming to the game and then was later ditched and forgotten. So, I bring this discussion back. If we were to implement this, how would we do it. From an earlier discussion I had I mentioned corrupt intervention becoming base kit. If not all three gens one or two at most. If not this I also thought of giving the killer increased speed (not including them being in there power to increase there speed in anyway). This would only be given for lets say the first 30 seconds of match or more if needed to find the first survivor. Once in chase or in a certain radius of a survivor haven't decided yet the speed would be brought down to the killers base speed to start a normal chase. Sometimes getting into the first chase can be hard so that's why I recommend this. This could also be used to help set up killers like hag and trapper early game. I would suggest gen slowdown but that seems hard to deal with so I suggest increase in killer movement speed at the start of the game. Your thoughts everyone

    Because "we just didn't like it", or in other words, gotta appease those survivors and not do this very good idea because it'll benefit only the killer.

    The thing is I think thats a bad reason. I could understand it if it had to do something with balancing but sense its not well like just seems like a bad reason. Its just like mmr. No one wanted or "like" but we have to deal with it so early game collapse should still be on the table imo

    I think the problem lies in how DBD is designed- around gens. What are the survivors going to do during this early game collapse? They’re just going to hide. Killers already hate immersion and find it boring.

    ‘The only thing I can think of is giving every killer a version of it that suits to their power or add-ons.

    For Legion, everyone has to mend to full health at the start.

    Doctor: everyone starts in Tier 3 madness screaming and need to snap out of it

    Pig: Amanda’s letter is now base. Everyone starts with a trap on their head, Pig can still carry her usual traps but she can NEVER see the aura of the boxes. Not even with add-ons.

    Freddy: everyone starts asleep and can’t wake up for 2 mins. No alarm clocks spawn and failed skill checks don’t work for that duration

    Artist: Crows on every gen for the first two mins and flock to you if you get too close. You don’t even have to tap the gen to get swarmed. Either commit or mind your distance.

    Plague & Nemesis: survivors always start infected. Nemesis should spawn with 4 more vaccine boxes though, to be fair

    Pinhead: chain hunt already in progress at the start. Survivors spawn in with 3 chains attached to them. Pinhead can NOT solve or hear the box for the first two mins of the trial. Box will move to other side of map following Pyramid Head’s torment cage rules if an eagle eyed Pinhead gets too close to the lament box

    Huntress: doesn’t hum for the first two minutes of the trial

    Those are just a few examples I came up with. Idk man- just spitballin.

    Woah. Are you trying to break the game, brother? That is absurd. Do we really want more survivors quitting the game?

    These are just suggestions. Something to make killers lives a little bit easier at the beginning sense we all know how it feels when three gens get popped in your first chase

    Lolol I thought this was light! But you may be right seeing how they DC on every Pinhead/Artist with Hex Plaything and Pentimento smh

    They didnt like how the slowdown stacked with slowdown perks and instead of doing a PtB where players could experience that themselves and give feedback it was scrapped instead.

    MMR still made it in.

    The reason they gave was "People weren't having fun." Or in other words "It wasn't fun for the survivors."

    It is not really needed IMO.

    Also, straight Killer Buffs are a nightmare to think about, because the same Buff which helps Clown or Trapper will be way too much on Nurse or Blight.

    So looking for a couple pieces of scrap scattered across the map before being able to repair generators wouldn't be fun? I'd love that!

    If they fix Pig's exploit, this is alright. But you can find one box even without add-on. It is not hard. And then sit. One of the survivors died or maybe more. And you still have traps for make game slower? No thanks, that would make me uninstall this game.
