If you became a developer of Dead by Daylight today, how would you fix or change swf. I know this is most likely a hard thing to answer but if I were to change swfs or make it better for the killers in anyways it would be as simple as telling the killer if there going against a swf. Now hear me out, I know this isnt changing a swf in any ways but if you could simply know if your going against I think this could easily change how a game will play out. Firstly, you would most likely change your build to face the challenge your about to face instead of having a goofy or fun build and be absolutely destroyed for not having any slowdown. Seconded of all being able to tell which teammates are in a swf will also help because if you can tell if its a duo trio or a four man you will know how to address this properly. Now the downside of knowing your going against a swf will be that you will probably want to leave the lobby as to not deal with it. Though if you do face the swf depending on the number of people in the swf you will be rewarded with 50% duo 75% trio and 100% more blood points for dealing with it. Thia is will help any problems you face agaisnt them. Thank you and I cant wait for y'all response.

I suggested the BP reward system for every extra SWF a year ago, and someone actually got upset with me and flamed me for it. He was legit upset that the killer would be compensated for his troubles. I don’t remember who that was. I hope he sees this lmao.

Eh most people are just gonna dodge the lobby. And you can kind of tell if it’s a swf or not. Same usernames, swf. Flashlights, swf. In PlayStation you can look up someone profile and see how many people they are playing with. Idk how it is on other platforms

True but Im not gonna lie to I've had some games where me and my team had the smallest amount of team work and were accused of being a sweaty swf. So reall it all depends plus there are times where an entire lobby can be on the same console regardless of cross play. Also I didnt suggest nerfs to a swf is because if we nerf a swf because of how they can play then what of the ones that only play this game casually

This was when I started out in November and I sucked with demo. Now I could probably beat them. I have improved my skills. They were nice to me at least

Just go insane and buff everything around swfs, most of the killer things.
Then slowly and carefully fix solo survivors to not have a problem, while trying not to buff swfs.
I'm sure it will work when we have funny ratio like right now and also 50% or so of players are swfs anyway.

The easy way out is to just give SWF a gen speed debuff. Killers get nerfed the easy way out all the time, so this seems fair to me.

People playing that casually shouldn't even be bothered by it. SWFs continuing to destroy killers who play very well should never be the best option, just because friends want to play together. No matter how you address the SWF situation, they're going to have to sacrifice some of their power at some point. The advantage they have over killers right now is unfair.

I would rather rework the game itself. Add voice chat for everyone, give basekit Bond, Kindred, Open-handed, and BT, of course, that one is already confirmed.
And then buff killers to be viable. That simple. You fix solo queue (a tiny bit), make SWF more enjoyable, and MAKE KILLERS GREAT AGAIN.

Just balance the game... Remove god pallets, make jungle gyms have an actual mindgame to them.
Increase gen time for 2 man gens to 65s instead of 47 so it requires more survivors for the speed boost.
Increase gen count by 1 so the killer has a bit more time to do things.
Get rid of COH Deadhard and NOED. Change the hook system so the entity drags the survivor off to a random hook but there is no hook timer so camping is pointless.
There are many things you can do. The problem is it requires people that can be bothered.

They can buff solo queue without buffing killers, all they plan on doing is giving us those icons that indicates what your teammates are doing.

I just can't take anyone unironically speaking about "clickyclicky" seriously. If that thing gets that much under your skin I think you should ask yourself if you're suited for multiplayer pvp games

When 4 people are clicking all tge time is a nuisance for everyone ears.Its fine a few times each 2-3 mins but not the whole game.

I wouldn't buff or nerf SWFs, I give every survivor kindred, then do what BHVR is already doing, show a status of what players are doing such as working on a gen or totem, in a locker, or in a chase.
This would basically bring solo and SWF players to almost the same level of knowledge. I'd let that sit for about a month and then see what needs to be changed on killer to balance that. Cause once Solo and SWF are playing with the same info, then you can balance killer. But as long as SWF has the upper hand over solo, you're never going to have any sort of balance.

Some variation of the "bring SWF and solo closer and balance around that". Because that's the only approach with a non-zero probability of even being considered for 0.00000000000000000000052 seconds by the developers.
No, I don't know the perfect way to do it either. But it's that, BP bonuses, maybe SWF indicators after the game (even though I can see that getting reverted if even like... 5 people make a big deal about them making "lists of proven SWF players" or something with the info) or absolutely nothing whatsoever if you ask me.

No BP, no indicators only put em all on the same bag.
Add these:
-Each survivor have a colour Green,red blue and violet for example.
-All survivors have their entity claws like when u are an obsession.When you are in chase entity claws will appear.
-Survivors can ping his location by pressing a key like when you use a map.(rework that map add on).So a green ping mean that survivor is there if there is a gen next to him means a gen is there.
-When you are repaiiring a gen indicator appear over you.
-Give kindred basekit.
-Add a totem counter.
Buff killers according this.As surv doesnt want to stay longer make loops shorter or buff speed of killers and shrink maps.

Not punish SWF at all, instead massively buff solos to SWF level, rework related perks, fix MM, and massively buff killers and nerf maps across the board. More effort, a better and more fun solution for more long term fixes.

I feel as though the problem is more complicated than this and they've already mentioned buffing solo que. So what you've suggested is something that has already been said. What I was trying to get at is swf and not so much at solo que. To me I feel as though there own problem

So this is going to be controversial but I would add comms to the game. It takes away the mentality of solo vs swf by putting everyone on the same field. In addition buffs and nerfs could be dished out accordingly based on what changes. DBD wants SWF and most likely would not survive without it like a lot of multiplayer games. In addition people are going to be on comms like almost every other multiplayer game. So integrate that into the game and if killers need a buff after that give it to them. It would end the debate once and for all.

Boom suddenly the gap between solo and SWF is now closed, and it was done without adding an annoying speech chat to the game. We don't need special buffs for players playing a lone, we don't need random handicaps to survivors who just want to play with friends.

Once i asked someone on how SWFs should get penalties for using the same 4 perks, comms and everything else.
They just told me that SWFs would just surf lobbies until they found their teammates like people did before SWFs were added.
