MMR ruins experience when playing as the new killer
So Sadako has been out for a day and I've barely played 10 matches with her and almost every team I get is very sweaty and runs meta builds and have thousands of hours, given the killer only just came out so my MMR should be lower than on other killers so its a pretty glaring problem. Maybe if you guys had a MMR system that made sense (instead of ONLY caring about kills and escapes) then this wouldn't be such a problem. All it's done is made me move onto another game for the evening so if that's what you want, good job.

SBMM is just weird and inconsistent, often focusing on short queue times instead of good, balanced matches

I'd go as far as to point to it being one of the biggest reasons less and less people are playing DBD, people put up with a lot of frustration trying to play this game and people can only take so much before they just stop playing.

As far as we know, SBMM puts any 'new' killer you own just underneath the MMR of your 'best' killer. Why this would be is anyone's guess.
There are extended periods where it feels like it's working properly, then it dumps you against the same 10000 hour SWF team twice in a row.

See I do think you shouldn't just start at 0 because then you'd have killers with thousands of hours going against complete newbies which isn't really fair but it should be low enough that you can see a clear difference between when you play as your best killer and when you play as a new killer and frankly these survivors I am getting with sadako are the same as the ones I get when playing Demo and Freddy (most played killers for me)
