So how has everyone's sbmm been treating them?
Had matches as survivor (Which I don't play often) Got a good amount of escapes, not so many deaths. I got good teammates and bad killers, and the more I escaped the better the killer got, and my teammates were getting worse. Seems something there doesn't make any ######### sense but sure, we'll take it.
Now I'm playing killer, playing as the Onryo. First 2 matches were easy, 3 kills in one and 2 kills in the other. 3rd match comes around and I can't do a SINGLE ######### thing to prevent gens from flying. Again, something is clearly ######### wrong, but sure, we'll take it.
How's yours been treating you?

God awful as usual. Who'd have thought that basing your interpretation of skill on an intrinsically flawed concept, prioritising queue time over match quality, and trying to implement competitive matchmaking into a heavily rng based game wouldn't be a good idea.

Here and there. I've had some really good matches recently, and some awful ones.

SBMM might as well not exist, because I get matched against brand new players, god-level pros and everything in between
3 -
Cant be more random hah sbmm do not exist

Hoping it does me good tonight but expecting the worse. :')

Survivor matches are fine but killer matches are significantly more harder and less fun then they used to be

MMR has an impact but the time of day you play at has a much bigger impact in my experience. If I play from 1-7pm(ish) it's a lot more likely I'll get decent teammates than if I were to play after that point. This is due to factors like longer queues.
So I'd say matchmaking is decent during the day but at night you're likely to play with potato teammates. Interestingly at the same time the chances of a killer player late at night being toxic or bringing the build + map you dislike the most increases a bunch too. And no, I'm not *just* referring to certain streamers you gotta watch out for at these times.

Today when I solo queued (I have close to 4k hours playtime):
1st lobby: a player with ~400 hours, I dodge
I load in the next lobby: one player with 150 hours (one hundred fifty!!!), I dodge instantly
3rd lobby: finally three other people who have more than 1k hours each - we manage to get a 3 man escape in the end against a good killer
I really wouldn't mind playing with new players BUT somehow SBMM thinks putting me together with 3 new players (who have NO clue they have to do gens and not crouch around in corners of the map or unhook their mates etc.) and at least a decent killer is fair. Spoiler: it's not! One guy with 4k hours CAN'T carry 3 'noobs' against a killer with 1k hours+ cause I can't loop the killer while also doing gens.

Sweatfest crap as a killer, survivors who somehow move slightly faster than you to each loop which is barely noticeable, stretched res still seems to work, went against a SWF who took me to auto haven and despite hiding my red stain they always could see where ever I was.
Gonna have to go back to checking profiles and making a rough guess into who to skip or not to have a normal game.

A tad...undertuned at peak hours as usual. It's usually a lot better at off-hours

Bad teammates all over the place that’s about it. Killer is whatever but that’s mainly because I play demo

I purposely lowered my mmr by going for 0k's for about a year, looking for chill matches but I 4k'd 2 matches as Sadako when she dropped so im back up to strong survivors who run meta every match.
The killer population must be really low.

It's like a rollercoaster. You have some good matches and then comes the drop.

God awful one minute I get decent teammates who don't take the killer towards the gens and we go against a decent to good killer so it's a fun match than the next I get two people who are fresh installs legit checked and one of them had 10 hours against a good to great killer(my survivor side sbmm)
Also God awful I have been getting either ttv sweat squads or newbie survivors who make tons of mistakes no matches where it's a fun challenge (my killer side sbmm)

I'm hearing "Random. Chaotic. All over the place. Hit or miss..."
Sounds just like the old matchmaking where Red ranks meant any "skill" level, so why get rid of SBMM?
Improve it? Sure. Go back to the old matchmaking? Pass.

Horrible, it feels much worse recently.

Well, i guess we all expected more from behaviour than to switch one system for another only to keep the underlying sickness.
The problem remained that at peak hours between 7-8pm and 1am the ratio of killer to survivor isn't 1:4 but more akin to 1 : 8-10.
And then to keep the 8-10 happy, the system throws all rules out the window and mixes everything for shorter queue times.
Only that noone is happy with the state of the game like this.
Edit: I really hate autocorrect sometimes.

I've seen more nurses than sadako, i did a couple of games and i had to close the game, i was like "ok a nurse, there's no way i get another one next game right?" Last famous words, I'll probably not play for a bit because looks like everyone wants to play her now, killer side no idea cuz i don't play it anymore

Been really good for me. Except for backfills, those are horrible. Previous killer lobby dodged these teams for a reason!

I truly believe BHVR has been lying this whole time and there is no SBMM hoing on, cause it's either that or they reallt are the incompetent ***** they are said to be for such a pathetic system they have going on.

They literally stated SBMM will prefer quick que over balanced matches.
