Just imagine spirit, a mutilated body, coming to you out of nowhere and you only have that sound clue and if you move a rock, you are done.
Right after spirit, hag would be the scariest.
And after her, I would say nurse.
The least scary one, imo, is the pig. Yes she can torture and all but she is just a woman with a knife with no supernatural powers. You have at least a chance.

Ehhh no its not all about popularity. For example, Freddy is a mega popular horror icon, but I find him as scary as Barney the Dinosaur.

Well, Myers is a hell lot of scary, a killer that feels exactly nothing when killing, just an empty husk filled with only evil.
Spirit, just imagine walking around then you see a mutilated corpse filled with rage coming at you.
Hillbilly, who the hell would not be scared by a deformed freak coming at ya at a high speed with a frigging chainsaw.

All of them are terrifying but the eerie ones scare me the most. Myers is the creepiest. He doesn't have any motivation, he doesn't make a sound, and the way he stalks his victims is freaky. He also seems the most real, like someone out there that could exist. His appearance as well, with the blank white mask, is creepy. The way the Wraith looks and moves is just off enough to be unsettling and his weapon is easily the scariest. The spirit looks the scariest and you'd be able to tell when she's coming, but you'd never tell from where she's coming which is completely horrifying.

Spirit, ghosts are the only things that really scare me so Spirit will probably give me a heart attack.
Everyone else I can run from or would be happy to see, whether they kill me or not.

Nurse is honestly more spirit-like than Spirit is. Anyway the thought of being ripped apart by a chainsaw or bludgeoned with a sledgehammer isnt exceptionally appealing so id say Hillbilly or Leatherface0

In the 2010 remake, Freddy was absolutely terrifying. The original movies were a joke.

I would fear most of them. Trapper is a big dude and looks like he could crush my skull without effort so that's pretty spooky. Wraith is invisible and just hearing that bell ring irl would freak me out bad. Hillbilly is a deformed maniac with a chainsaw so yeah no thanks. Nurse is a creepy ghost lady that can teleport through walls so yeah R.I.P. I personally think Micheal would be the scariest because he's just so realistic, he could be an actual person, watching us right now, waiting for the perfect time to strike. Hag would scare me to death just by looking at her and her traps would get a spook out of me (plus I don't think I have the leg strength to be crouching everywhere lol). Doctor just looks terrifying on his own, and I jump when I get a tiny shock so I can't imagine what a volt of electricity would feel like. Huntress is pretty scary and just thinking about the pain of an axe in my back makes me shudder. Leatherface would also scare me since I like my current face and I don't want to be cut up with a chainsaw. Freddy would also be terrifying since you're not safe even in your sleep, he'll always know where you are so there's no hiding and when you're awake he'll just be waiting there for you to fall back asleep. Pig would also scare me since she just looks creepy and I don't want to be tortured in a death trap. Clown would be terrifying for me since I still kinda have a fear of clowns and having him chase after me and my fingers would be terrifying. Spirit would be funny yet scary at the same time, the noises she makes will always make me laugh no matter what but at the same time, it's a mutilated corpse chasing you and you never really know where she is when she's phasing. I wouldn't be too scared of Legion, if all 4 of them were on me at once, then yes but if it's just Susie or Frank on they're own I wouldn't fear them. I would still run away but that would mostly be because I can't fight lol, if I knew how to fight I would definitely take them on. But, yeah call me a scaredy cat because I would be scared of all the killers, but hey, who wouldn't run from a powerful killer?
