Opinions on Yoichi and Sadako's perks?
Just curious what everyone think of the new perks that came with this chapter.
Sadako's perks are ok. Merciless Storm can be good and Call Of Brine is decent. Scourge Hook: Floods Of Rage is just straight up bad, though.
Yoichi doesn't have much interesting perks. Boon: Dark Theory isn't that great and Empathetic Connection is useless. Parental Guidance is decent, though.

Meh and bad. Floods of Rage is very fun on Nurse and Huntress, maybe even PH, but not strong enough on itself and needs to be combined with PR to be good. Merciless is awful and Brine is good but doesn't overshine Ruin at all because of how quick you can stop gens regressing.
Parental Guidance is probably good in a stealth build but will replace nothing meta. Empathetic is begging to be sandbagged in solo. Dark Theory is somehow worse than Exponential

Sadako - Mediocre. Call Of Brine seems pretty good, Merciless Storm seems genuinely worthless and Floods Of Rage... exists? I guess?
Yoichi - Sad. Parental Guidance is alright, I guess, but relies on other perks to be even somewhat decent. Empathetic Connection honestly seems decent in concept, but... 10% faster healing speed is terrible. Maybe make it 50%, since it only affects healing other people, unlike something like Botany Knowledge which affects all heals.
And Boon: Dark Theory is honestly among the worst Survivor Perks in the game. You wanna know the best thing this perk does? Waste the Killer's time by making them snuff a useless boon. That's it.

Call of Brine seems alright. Manual ruin that can't be cleansed. Definitely not bad.
Floods of Rage I've already seen two people use with MYC which is probably the best way to use it. Outside of that it's just a worse BBQ though.
Merciless Storm is mostly terrible although it actually might be good on Doctor (and yes I tested this and not only does it work but each individual skill check can be in a different position and/or change direction from the previous one). But other than that it's a mostly useless perk.
Parental Guidance seems decent despite the nerf, it's just more manageable for the killer now.
Empathic Connection I'm going to try on a healing build and if it doesn't work out then I'll take it off and probably never use it again. I don't have high expectations though.
Dark Theory I've been using in some of my games tonight (paired with shadow step). In most matches it hasn't really done anything, but in one match it absolutely got me to a pallet I wouldn't have reached otherwise and the killer ended up dropping chase instead of me going down, so it did something there. But overall I don't think it's that good.
