I don't understand the point of stealth if you have a lullaby?
This, for me at least, is the one of the only things that really makes sadako below average.
Theoretically, she should be really really good at hit n run since she can stealth the first hit and tp somewhere else. The only issue is that her stealth is bad. Honestly, her stealth is akin to Freddy; not exactly stealth, just a little confusing.
And God damn does it hurt to not have actual stealth. I'm trying as best as I can to hide my approach and sneak up to a survivor, but they're miles away before I get there. If I were to do that same with ghostface, I'd garuntee an easy injury.
Her tvs also leave a lot to be desired. I've tried everyway I could think to use them.
Cut people off? Nah, the tp has a loud directional sound que that tips them off. Best I can do is zone them away from a stronger part of the map... Maybe.
Use it in chase? Actually yeah, that works 100% of the time, 10% of the time. And just forget getting any in chase value without bloody finger nails.
Use as map pressure? Best use, unless they turn off the TV you need to go to. Just like demos portals but slightly worse.
She is so incredibly close to being pretty decent, but all the info she unnecessarily gives to survivors really hurts her.

Yes, in my (limited) testing, her stealth is basically non-existent. It might trip up new players or people not paying attention, but against any half-decent team, it's gonna do about nothing.
Her TV's cannot reliably be used to cut people off. Survivors do get a directional sound, but you're fast enough to make that a non-factor. The issue is their placement. It's not often that a Survivor will be running close enough or in the directional of a TV.
I find her TV's to be far inferior to Demo's Portals. Faster, yes but Demo's Portals don't go on a 100 second cooldown after they've been used.

It's a mistake BHVR make over and over and over again. They make killer powers with too much built-in counterability for survivors.
They need their hand held because stealth is obivously OP so just replacing the heartbeat with a different audio at the same range is enough.
Can't have a mobile killer any more unless the survivors are allowed to turn off that aspect of the power.
Sadako's whole power feels like survivors choosing how your power works, rather than you using your power to do anything.

100 seconds? Damn I thought it was way less than that... I genuinely believed that the TV's took so long to come back was because survivors were disabling them off cooldown

I believe it's actually less if the Survivors turn them off than if you use them.
100 seconds for a Teleport, 60 if a Survivors shuts them down.

Yeah, I've felt the same way playing her. The interaction is very one sided. Sucks because I really want to like her, but theres not much to like about not being able to use your power

It's a quiet 24m range that gives no directional indication. From my experience as and against it really doesn't impact her stealth at all- the thing you should be taking issue with is her flickering in and out of focus, which has a much greater effect on survivors being able to run away.
They have a 5s, non-directional notification you're somewhere nearby. And by the time most people have registered it and began to look around those 5s have been counting down.

That's so absurdly brutal. I think survivors being able to interact with a killer power is good and all of its a give and take, like plagues fountains or healing against oni.
That just doesn't seem like the case for sadako.

Yeah so just like Freddy. That still gives them tons of time to run to safety which entirely defeats the purpose of stealth

Not really? Freddy is 32m, Sadako is 24m. It doesn't seem like much but that's 2 seconds less of distance and again, you don't know the direction.
It's also a lot quieter than the LALALA LA LA LALALALA

Didn't Freddy lullaby also non-directional?

It's also much much louder and gives them a 2s extra warning.

I haven't tested it but does the lullaby persist once manifested?
I find it very sad that a quiet constant lullaby like Tricksters can ruin undetectable/Oblivious builds.
I'd like to use Plaything but if Oreo won't stay silent whats the point.

I don't get why non-directional is meant to be a selling point. Since they changed Huntress years ago, what is directional except Spirit during phase?
All it does is substitute the sound file for terror radius with a different sound file and otherwise gives them the exact same distance to react to your presence "undetectable" or not.
Personally I find I'm more inclined to use Monitor and Abuse on her to be a 115 killer with a 16m TR because it's more stealthy than her "stealth."

Yes.
Demogorgon's Portals are FAR better in pretty much every way.
