Im tired of "nice" killers.
When i queue up, i actually want to play the game. i dont want to play hold m1 simulator. i only have so much time in a day to dedicate to dbd. and when you only play a couple of games and both of those are nice/afk killers it really pisses me off. of course the survivors are not even gonna rush the gens, they'll just play around with the killer stalling the game more.
when a survivor trolls you can still play the game, if a killer doesnt you've just wasted about 20 minutes of your life. this behavior needs to be punished.
EDIT: by nice killers i dont mean killers who dont camp or tunnel, rather killers who refuse to engage in normal gameplay like not hitting the survivors.

How is it taking you 20 minutes to do 5 gens if the killer is nice/afk?
Even if the other 3 teammates are booty dancing with the killer in the basement it shouldnt take you 20mins to do the gens...
And if it does then the problem is on your end my friend

If by mean killer you mean i actually do my objective to the best of my ability and try to kill all 4 survivors. Then yes, i am a mean killer :p

me wanting to actually play the game is my problem apparently. this community is a joke LMAO. dude i dont care if it's not 20 minutes and it's actually 17 minutes and 32 seconds or whatever. it's still a waste of my goddamn time. keep in mind that queues and loading screens take time too. besides, it's a waste of add-ons and offerings as well.

From what I read, you mean farming Killers. And honestly, the last time I have seen a Killer who wants to farm is long ago. So I doubt that it will happen on a regular basis for you up to the point that it gets annoying.
And as others have said, it does not take 20 minutes to complete all Gens. All Gens take 400 seconds, which is not even 7 minutes, even if you do them solo. And even if the other 3 Survivors and the Killer farm together, they will do Gens eventually.
If they want to force you into farming, this is actually reportable.

Just pound gens. I also do not want to farm, I would rather be tunneled and moried, than farm. But, just pound gens and open the exit gates. 80 seconds times 5 is 400 seconds. Seven minutes and you should be out the doors with a Iri Lightbringer, EZ.

all you got was whatever you wanted to get, and in the process you managed to miss my point entirely. by the way it's funny how whenever i make a post about killers im assumed to be a killer main, and whenever i post about survivors im a survivor main. the us vs them mentality. i literally play both.

I do understand that you don't have a lot time to invest into this game... and the games that go on "forever" are bad
But the "meta" isn't to farm... it's to get Gens done as soon as possible or to get Kills as soon as possible and whatever happens happens
So if you are getting into matches where you see the Survivors try to farm just do the Gens and open the door... that'll put an end to the match

Alright then I guess I'll start face camping my first hook to death every mat- kidding.
If someone does something like dc and I start to farm just point at a hook and tell me to kill you. Idk about others, but I'll know what you mean if you do it while on death hook.

Bloodpoint farming is annoying and I dont like it, cuz I dont need bloodpoints and have all perks on each character. BUT to be honest and fair - in my early noob days I was happy, if a killer wanted to farm cuz there was much more grind than nowadays 😂
Today, when my mates wanna farm I will ignore it and just do the gens and leave. As long as no one forces me to farm it is fine. And thanks to god it barely happens to me.
Farming killer is not a nice killer. Nice killer = no tunneling, no camping, no sweating against 3 people after an early disconnect AND not killing little Feng Min who is the last survivor and sacrifices her med kit to u <3 This is the way Im mostly playing like.

I think you may find that at least some of them want to play killer but they have pretty much given up. Many maps are very survivor sided and with things like COH it can feel hopeless as killer.

no, i was talking about an issue that i encountered. but you want to shift the attention to another one and on top of that make assumptions about me.
i dont care if there is a long queue time, as long as said queue time is actually used to then play the game. you're basically saying that if i refuse to stare at a wall for 10 minutes, then i also refuse to wait 10 minutes while my noodles are cooking. one of those wait times actually has a purpose.

I'm a 'nice' killer - in that I don't tunnel, don't camp and generally let the last survivor, sometimes the last two survivors go on death hook.
That said, this post illustrates just why the killer role can feel so thankless at times.
Play to win? You're a no-lifer sweatlord who's probably cheating.
Don't play to win? You're trolling.
Hint: If your killer is AFK or memeing around and you aren't in the mood, just sit on gens and get out. It won't take you 20 minutes, trust me.

whatever you just said makes 0 sense. this is an issue that affects me when i play survivor. i've made plenty of threads about issues with killer gameplay. they cant be the same.
would you have preferred if i called the thread "i hate when i play killer and i get nice killers"? honestly if your comment had a point, i must have missed it entirely.

Okay i´ll try to explain myself.
Here you complain about m1 simulator and nice killers that waste 20 minutes of your time. Therefore its save to assume, that you are playing survivor.
I never claimed that you are maining anything. As a matter of fact, queue times vary heavily depending on which time of the day and which side you play. The only one who tried to make this a "us vs them" was well... you.
Now back to the main issue of long queues and nice killers. There is a free weekend right now. So there are probably a few more killers around, which might just want to have a chill or what they consider "nice" game. The grind of this game is horrible, so i can´t be mad about someone who tries to farm. Of course, your opinion might be a completely different on this regard. But sometimes, especially after facing a sweaty SWF squad, its nice to play a chill game, where nothing really matters.

I don't mind the occasional farm session but sometimes I'm just not in the mood and it's kind of frustrating. In those cases I usually just bang out gens then run out. Forcing the EGC kinda sucks if they wanted to farm more but oh well

i see your point and understand why you're unbothered by "nice" killers, unlike me.
however, i still fail to understand the point you were trying to make in the original comments, by saying "you wouldn't complain about this if you were playing killer".
regardless, let's not derail the point of the thread and make it about queue times. i have no issues with queue times, as long as you get to play the game after it, because then it is not time wasted. now, if you are met with a troll game after a long queue time, that's an entirely different story.
