Do you think Pyramid Head is fun to play?

I think he is kinda clunky to use since everything has cooldowns and using your power can be chore if you use it a lot. Thoughts?

To play as? Meh. He feels a bit clunky to play.

To play against? It's a treat. Dodging his Punishment Of The Damned attack is pretty fun, not on the level of Demogorgon's Shred however

He's a bit too clunky for me and his ranged attack is a bit too telegraphed/slow, but he's more fun than most

I like playing him. Actually my favorite part of his kit is the trails and cages, I’m not even that into his ranged attack honestly. It feels really satisfying getting Cages and killer instincts from trails though. 🙂

He's pretty decent to play as/against, imo.

    Yes.

Oh wait, I should probably elaborate.

So on the power part, it's not clunky at all, it's very fluid once you get used to not trying to strafe. You can also prep and cancel with little consequence which makes it powerful because you can use it as a treath and put survivors in a lose lose situation.

But overall he is fun because he is a powerful, monstruous bully. You can very easily intimidate even experienced survivors. Once they realize that they can't juke you consistently (which does depend on you) they tend to get real careful around and drop the silliness.

It's very satisfying to see them dart away and abandon their less fortunate teammates to suffer my punishment because they know they stand to go down as well if they try and interfere

I feel as though his base range is kinda wack considering how much people just hold W. I guess that's the point since hisability is anti loop, but I guess the gameplay it encourages isnt the mostfun for me.

It's not so bad since his addons suck so I always run double range anyways I guess

Nope. Clunky, boring as ######### add-ons, not a fan of SH anyhow.

Yeah I agree. Clunky to play, add-ons are bad. I enjoy playing him occasionally as a change of pace, though

He is not my type for sure. But i am facing with so much Pyramids, he is popular and it is fun to play against him.

He isn't my cup of tea. POTD kind of feels slow and clunky to use and survivors aren't stupid enough to step in his trails, so his cages are useless half of the time.

I would if the attack didnt have the weird slowdown on the turn rate, it makes me so uncomfortable I cant be bothered to continue playing him

On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being incredibly unfun and 10 being Spirit, I’d say he’s around 5 or 6. Just not one of my favorites.

I adore Pyramid Head. I love silent hill, his design, his backstory, everything about him. He's really good at punishing greed. Whether through zoning, punishing unhooks or getting people out of the game extremely fast if they aren't careful. But his power, unfortunately, is completely countered by hold W. It's not a glaring issue as most survivors don't play with a comp mentality. But there have been many games where my chases are just me catching up to survivors and never getting the actual chance to use my power. It's still very satisfying and rewarding to hit. Although a little inconsistent.

I mean if you actually close the gap he is ultra threatening. And he is threatening everywhere, no loop is safe.

I would never wanna do double range. Duration + Range is better than double range imo.

Duration + Recharge is also super strong. Recharge is slept on.

Duration + Recharge basically means you can spend 50% of the game dragging the sword through the ground, which is just such insane zoning. Double range can still get juked by some really good survivors but nobody is that safe from the zoning hits.

With duration he can drag the sword for 8 seconds straight or something which is just nuts. It means you torment people trivially since you chase them around the entire loop with the sword in the ground, so they are tormented for even 1 loop attempt instead of leaving the tile, while you are simultaneously threating to nail them at any points.

It's soooo strong and way more consistent to execute than going for long distance M2 hits.

He used to be a lot of fun on release. Now? He's ok.

I like playing him. He is a bit clunky but not to the point where it ever bothered me.

Fun but I still dont like your sensitivity being thanos snapped when you user his power.

I would say he has all the right things going for him to be fun to play. I just really don't like how it feels to try to set up torment fields due to all the slowdown you suffer since it was nerfed to faking. It's not a problem in chase at least.

    I have fun playing Him

He's another Killer that brings something different to the game... His trails, cage and Final Judgment
