Just played a face camping bubba. Know what we did?
Some friends wanted to swf. Havent played in a long time. Played like 10 matches. One of them was a bubba. He did literally nothing except chainsaw the first person he saw and camped their hook. Guess what happened?
The remaining 3 did gens and left. He got like 5k points. Even the person he face camped had more points than him. Was it fun? Absolutely not. Is it counterable? Yes. Should bhvr do something about it? Probably but Ive no clue what could be done. I believe killers should be free to camp a hook if it is beneficial to their objective. If I got 2 people hooked close together, I'm not leaving. I dont know how bhvr could possibly distinguish between someone who is literally face camping and a killer who the survivors are looping him near the hook.

Key words are here: SWF. Yeah, you can do this with your friends. But on solo-q, you are clueless. You are going to save your teammate, you are seeing Bubba is camping. You are turning back to gens but you already wasted so much time.

Even with kindred, randoms still wait for bubba to leave.

My swf kill ourselves. No man left behind, we die together, lower MMR, no gen simulator. Win win win for us. Plus Booba just wants friends

Pretty simple answer here, don't play soloq.
It's like saying game should be balanced around killers who intentionally spread hooks or not using any slowdowns, rather weird.

Running to look at a hook really shouldn't take you that much time. As killer, I run laps all the time, checking something once or twice shouldn't be too much of a hardship.

BHVR needs to put this in the in-game announcements every time you log in so even my solo queue teammates learn how to deal with facecamping instead of trying to suicide the hook and giving the facecamper an easy 4K.

Nah, I had this as solo as well. No big deal when the camped survivor doesn't suicide.

If you were able to coordinate in solo, camping Bubba (and likely campers in general) would largely become a relic of the past. But no one seems to be on the same page, unless they are on comms.
Few things are as frustrating as watching your team just throwing themselves at a facecamping Bubba.

If Bubba is camping, there is not so much time. So every second is important. SWF will know what is Bubba doing and they will do gens. Solo survivors will check hook. Maybe all survivors same time or maybe one. You can not know.

Make his chainsaw not one shot near hooks and stop automatically after one hit, this makes survivors have time to exchange and then bt/ds comes to clutch

My solution to this:
It would give enough time even for soloq to finish all gens. So Bubbas would become bored quite quickly of this facecamp strategy.
