Survivor scratchmarks not appearing
Seems to be a new bug, the survivor was on a short loop and sprinting around and suddenly scratch marks aren't appearing anymore and the survivor is suddenly miles away all in the short of a blink stun with no scratch marks leading up to where they currently are.
New "bug" from BHVR?

No because they didn't vault because it was at a pallet loop with no walls or vaults.
In the short fatigue stun, they were already miles away and with no scratch marks.

was there a boon? could have been shadowstep

Theres also a boon that hides scratch marks when they exit the radius. Shadow step i believe. Im not too familiar with boons. Been on a long break. The survivor could have entered shadow steps radius and when they exited, the scratches would be hidden for a few secs.

If they vaulted the pallet, it would have activated, or shadow step, or parental guidance + smash hit

Scratch marks have been inconsistent the past year already, there are sometimes moments where scratch marks randomly dont appear and appear a few meters again. I get what you mean, I also sometimes get "mindgamed" by that.

What perks did the survivor have

Was the survivor injured? Maybe he had lucky break.

I would say its due to a perk.
Otherwise, there has been a hacker issue lately.

I think it was a hacker because no survivor can gain over 30 meters distance in one nurse fatigue stun and have no scratch marks leading to them.
I've played long enough to know which perks stop the scratchmarks.

There is a scratchmark perk that last like 90s. Idk the name off hand but it does exists. If they didn't have it then yeah, cheating.
