Yet another idea to fix increasing grind and make prestige better at the same time
It's not a secret that with every chapter grind increases exponentially, and also prestiging character is kinda pointless...
So to prestige character you need around 1.5~ million bps, something like that, but also to get all perks you should spend around 6 million bps, which is basically equals p3 50 lvl, so my idea is about reworking prestige to fix exponential grind. So at p1 all of character's perks will be available at every other characters at level 1, at p2 they will be lvl 2 and at p3 lvl 3. So for example you have p3 lvl 50 claudette, and just lvl 1 dwight, since claudia is p3, dwight will have botany knowledge, selfcare and empathy at level 3 already.
The whole point of this is to reduce exponential grind, while keeping grind overall, because I saw too many people that enjoying this grind for some reason, also you have an option to prestige or not character, if you don't like someone, you can just skip him and pretty much in short terms you will spend less bps, but in long terms the opposite. It's also makes progression more noticeable for new players, which is really cool thing to keep them in game.
The only problem I see is players with all p3 killers/survivors, but old and active players would get all perks and p3 anyway, so it's not such a problem.

To Prestige should always be the option of "I only do it if I invest a ton of time"
the initial grind is the problem, I just try to unlock all the perks for both sides, prestige the killer is the most harmful thing if you want/need all the perks, on Survivor its less problematic, as you only need one with all perks, so if you have one character with all perks you can waste the blood points on the others until you have one P3 with all perks, then you can start P3 the initial survivor.
Killers all play different (more or less for some :P) and here is the problem, but the initial idea of unlocking perks separately and leveling them up to unlock them is nice.
Also: Delete map offerings, delete hatch spawn offerings, and some add ons.
I hope they can show us something cool soon to show what they are working on.

I mean, by definintion, a prestige is something that shouldn't be accesible easily, otherwise, it wouldn't be a prestige anymore.
While it is to much of a task for a regular player to prestige without wasting their next month of gameplay on it, i think some extreme player think of prestiging as a base game mechanic and complain if they can't do it every so often.
But i agree that prestiging should award you with more than jsut a cosmetic and slightly better addon rarity.
What i never understood was the dev's response to grind and how they want a permanent solution before implementing anything. Because reducing every item price by one or two thousand BP sound like a very good temporarily solution that doesn't require a lot of coding and can be as easily changed back once the more permanent alternative is ready.
